Can you add settings for Grid mode: Icon size (not only 48px but 32px and 16px and 96px and so on) and Icon spacing to make more space between icons to make more space for icon labels to make them more readable? :^)
Oh, and one more. Settings for appearing speed. Last builds bit slower than early.

I'm not sure about this "doesn't show the icon" stuff.Go to Icon settings, Show icon, and select "Always". See if that "solves the problem".
btw, i'm using OD..still got same problem with showing the icon..
even the default icon won't come out..
hi dude...great work.really...i have just a little problem...i use rocketdock...i set my icons and the stacks looks running on the right way(i don't need to restart)...troubles come when i restart my laptop...i get the blank icon and i have to set them again...how can i solve this problem???tnx
If you are using Vista please move RocketDock to C:SomeFolder (move it outside Program Files), or disable UAC, or set RocketDock folder properties to something less restrictive than defaults.

Matonga, your label hover effect is great 
However, currently I can't seem to be able to launch the shortcut if I click on the label. I have gone conditioned myself to avoid the label and click directly on the icon but every once in a while.. is there any chance it'd be easy to allow the label to be a click-able area of the dock to launch the shortcut? This would bring a little more consistency to the app.

Yes, it is annoying even to myself (I click in the label too often too), but I was too lazy to fix it. Let me see...

I have a new observation however.
I label many of my files with the date in the front thusly: "2008.12.05_MyFileName.txt"
However, currently, in Grid Mode, the above file name becomes: "2008.12" with the rest of the name disappearing.
Could you possibly correct this as well? *crosses fingers*

I just switched to the 2d dock skin and now saw, that the collapsed stack icons are way too small ( the default is OK).
I made a screenshot to show. The docks have the same size, but the Leopard dock icons are much bigger.

now rklauncher works more better with multiple stacks and so dynamic and smooth
i still got some errors when i try to customize one stack but it`s still there after i press ok ... nothing is lost

Hi. I could write a version of Stack Docklet for YzDock but... you'd only be able to add only one stack to the dock. By one I mean only one and no more than one stack.
If you already want this, then I may think about it.
Hi! First of all I didn't expect such a speedy reply from the developer himself - so THX for the great docklet!! I've seen it on Rocket Dock and have to say: impressive work.
Now about the Y'z Dock implementation - one instance is definitely better than none!! So if you can make it work under an Y'z Dock environment I would be very grateful indeed!
But since Y'z is quite old by now I've found out that it is fairly easy to "trick" it... I.e. I use two instances of it (one on the right and one on the left border of my screen) by just starting it from two different directories. That among other things (like the docklets "background", "power" and "cpumonitor" with its RAM indicator) is also the main reason for not using Rocket Dock since it allows only one instance as far as I could work out.
Anyhow - what I'm getting at is this: isn't it possible to just copy the docklet and rename the files in a way that would allow more than one instance of Stacks Docklet within Y'z Dock?! Since Y'z only looks for dll's it would possibly discover the docklets as StacksDocklet01.dll, StacksDocklet02.dll and so on, allowing the use of more than one instance.. What do you think?

Yes, that will work because it is how people do it in last RK Launcher version (which doesn't allow multiple instances of docklets, i.e. it has same problem than YzDock).

I have some improvement ideas:
1) Option to show folders first always (and sort them by creation time, name e.t.c)
2) I think it will be useful to open chosed folder in stack again. I mean, when you choose folder, it doesn't open explorer window, but opens content in a stack (as an option, someone will prefer explorer, I guess).
If you believe it would work there is no reason to not create a Y'z Dock version. Since many people still use it (small memory footprint) it would be very welcome!! I'd be happy to test it out and check it for bugs if that would be of some help.
About the suggestion of Alchem: If I understood correctly it is about an option to open the "folder view" by default without having to first enter the stack or grid layout and than click on "folder".. Why not have an alternative mouse button to do that. For example the Y'z Dock default for a directory is to open in the folder view on left mouse button OR have a (very ugly) list view on middle click... (please try it out - most people don't realize this actually exists)...

No, if I would need just explorer window-I'd made just a shortcut to it. Sorry for my english
If you click on a folder shown in a stack now, it will open an explorer window for this folder. I offer to show content of this folder in a stack.
P.S. I tried to shift+click a folder within an open stack (grid view) instead of clicking an stack icon and grid collapsed slow. Is it a bug or a feature?
P.P.S. Animation is slow until you release shift button.

So are you going to do it - convert Stacks Docklet to Y'z Dock? I certainly hope so and if I can be of any help please PM me! I use Y'z on a daily basis and would love to test it out ;-)
About Alchem's suggestion: now I do get it. I think it is a swell idea, but maybe a lot of work. At the end it would work like a Multi-Level Directory Tree with the stacks layout.. Every time you click on a folder a new stack opens up...

For the "fan" view it would be better, but for "grid" view it will be a lot of semi-transparent windows and a quite mess so I think to open directory in the same stack will be OK.
I am also very interested and willing to test out a Stack Docklet compatible with Y'z dock. IMO it's the best dock out there because it is so lightweight. Please let me know if you need any testers for it. Thanks.

I've been using the stack docklet for awhile now. Very useful for me. Now I have a simple request. Can you make a mouse-over effect for the fan view in future release? Like just change the color of the text-background so that I know it selected. thanks!
