Stacks Docklet

Using the latest version of both ObjectDock Plus and the Stacks docklet, when I place a stack in a dock at the top of the screen, the stack opens up off screen. How can I repair this?

If you're using a tabbed doc this is expected; this docklet works fine with simple docks only. (tho I may be mistaken...)

I am using the stackdocket. If there are too many documents in the folder which a stackdocket is assigned to, the grid will go out of the screen. How about to set a limited size to grid according to the size and resolution of the screen.

I did set a file's attributes to hidden, and the file doesn't appear in the stack. This works fine for non-special folders.

The option is meant to show the hidden files or just to hide them?

Special Folder Control Panel works only for 32-bit control panel on 64-bit system. Basically, it doesn't show the 64-bit control panel items.

The option is meant to hide the hidden files... Here's an image to show you...

The files rounded by the red line are hidden in the C: directory, but the docklet showthem anyway...

I'm using the latest preview 0.134 (at least I think is the last one)

PD: If you want it I can write in spanish, I'm from Chile so we are neighbors =P....

Those files do not have the hidden attribute set. They only have the system attribute set.

Stacks should also hide files with the system attribute set.

And if possible, have an option to show/hide hide/system files. It could even read the status of hidden/system files from the explorer view settings.

Whenever you get time, that is.

Matonga, yes the special folders don't crash on either Rocket Dock or Object Dock, but theres still one problem. On rocketdock when you click on the stack to view whats in it, the title of the folder doesn't disappear like that of object dock. Heres wat I mean.

And if possible, when you select the folder for what the stack to look at, can you add a name changer, like say you use control panel as a stack but want to rename it to system preferences, then it would be complete.

However, the latest update made it very slow.

The animations are not that smooth, but rather stuttering. It's not being like that before.

I have a problem with new version of docklet. It seems that it doesn't support farsi (right to left language) although the old version supported it. I attach the screenshots.

Hey matonga! I wanted to say you're doing an amazing job. I currently have 4 stack docklets on my ObjectDock.

One problem I've encountered is that sometimes as I open the stack (usually first times in a session, though I can't really say what a session is...) and go to the object inside the stack, the entire stack collapses (gets closed) that's before I manage to press anything.

another thing is that I'm not sure where, but pressing the upper part of an object in the stack leads to opening the one that was above it.

one last (and minor) issue is that browsing for an icon outside the objectdock installation folder doesn't create an address, I have to manually enter the address of the icon (or copy+paste)

Felicitarte por tu trabajo, y luego una pequeña duda.

Uso Objectdock 1.9 gratuito, con Windows Vista (también usé XP) y la opción que pongo debajo no me funciona. Personalmente laconsidero la más interesante de esta aplicación, pero no se por qué no funciona.

Descomprimo el zip a la carpeta correspondiente, etc etc etc, pero a lo mejor se me escapa algo.

¿Alguien me ayuda? ¡gracias!

now you can drop files to the stack dock icon (they will be moved to the stack's configured folder)

I run Vista also. Sometimes it helps to give yourself permissions to that folder. Right click on it and go to security and add yourself giving yourself full permissions. What program are you using Stack Docklet in btw?

Matonga is the only one that can do anything about it, and he has RL obligations and other projects. Give it time.
