By "load in background" I mean this:

In previous versions, if you added a "Stack (Explorer)", and selected a folder full of images (let's say for example 200 images) the dock would just freeze until all images were loaded.

In current versions, if you add a stack (explorer) and select a folder full of images the dock responds immediatly and you can continue to work as usual, AND you can open the stack (wether fan / grid) and see how the images are progressively loaded. :)

There are three effects in Mac OS X:

The scaling effect (similiar to the one seen in Rocket Dock).

The genie effect (the one seen in RK Launcher and in Bobah's dock).

The suck effect.

The suck effect is not available in Mac OS X dock settings, it is a hidden trick or easter egg if you please to call it like such ;)

You can use owned windows.

I wanted to do this long time ago, but realised how to do it about two days ago :P

If that's what you're looking for, then TForm.CreateParented won't work (at least in Delphi 5). You have to use plain old CreateWindowEx( ) and do it all by hand. :(

I wanted to make clear Bobah is the author of the dock, even though I gave him some suggestions and did partially reverse engineer the skin file format for version 2.0 :P

I'd be proud to have any more involvement with Bobah's Mac X Dock, but credits and requests ought to go to him in first place, then to all of us here who give him feedback, help and serve as testers.

there is an option on other, drag the little thing, all the way to the right, or nearly to the right, or just experiment with it

you are amazing, Bobah.. love the dock.. but I still don't feel it can replace ObjectDock Plus which i am using know (with reflected icons). There are a few glitches in the language of the dock settings window. For some reason, when i add new items, the dock doesnt zoom except the first and last items. Another small thing, when i add My Computer to the dock, i cant rename it. This is a huge problem because

1 - My Computer, on my comp is renamed to 'My Mac'

2 - the 'c' in my computer isn't capitalized.

Also, i'd love you'd add more customizability options. Perhaps you could take a look at the rocketdock, objectdock and rklauncher settings and find someway to include all their setting options in one. That would easily put your dock at the top of the list.

One last thing - maybe you could try including a feature to import settings from ob dock, rocketdock or rklauncher.. that'd let all the users of those docks shift to u immediately.

If u do all that.. which i'm sure will be pretty hard.. although i dont noe a shit about developing.. I can guarantee your dock will become the most downloaded dock EVER!!

excuse me I don't have seen the options "space between panel and screen", good work thanks! it misses only the slide for horizontal position.

PS. am I wrong me or the icons cannot be personalized?

PS. I have tried to make the drag and drop of the default icons of system: computer, documents, basket, etc... but it doesn't allow me to insert them in the bar, I know that it can be done with add in options but it would be also beautiful to be able to do it with drag & drop, thanks!

So, what about drag & drop, may be I'll fix it but now I have more impontent problems with the dock. ;)

like we can actually edit the icons inside stacks...

cause my icon looks ugly when i use stacks, it's kinda pixelated...
