Nice job and I think I'm gonna keep it... but the docklet KkMenu can't be configured 100%.
When I put the the name in the label-the one on top of each icon- it only appears in that session. After restart windows the text designated to that label disappear. Instead it writes "kkmenu" to all of the kkmenu docklets.
Note that this doesn't happen with Object Dock.
The Aladin Lamp Effect is extremely slow. I'll keep the WXF's Gennie Effect until this Aladin gets faster.

Two bugs, quite important:
1- I experience random dock clearing. Sometimes, I exit the dock and restart it some time after and everything is emptied from it. I haven't found a pattern yet, but I should start backing up my configuration files.
2- The dock performance drops after opening the configuration dialog. Animations aren't smooth anymore. Decreased performance persists even after closing the dialog. Need to restart dock to get full speed. Please fix, I have been experiencing this since build 152. Easily reproduced, happens everytime the config dialog is opened.
Thanks for the support!

Maybe is your pc problem? ![]()
Can't be. I don't have anything that will periodically erase files.
About the config dialog bug, the animations are super-smooth before loading up the dialog. After that, they get slightly sluggish. Still works, but of course, I would like it to run full speed, full time.
Radeon 2250? That thing is ancient! Or is that a typo?
It works great, the genie effect looks amazing, takes a little long, maybe 1 - 1.5 seconds. But I don't think that's unusally slow, a fraction faster would be nice, but It's not really a big complaint.

Thanks, I love it, made me switch from ObjectDock.
i am not sure what is this and where to put it or even if it was mentioned before, so i am going to tell u about this.
If i have an app opened and minimized in rk and i am opening the same app, this will apear in windows taskbar and if i am going to minimize it some "black ghost" will minimize to rk!
I have a video to this page.
If is not clear enough i will make one bigger and better quality.

You will notice that the last icon your mouse hoverd over, before you clicked on an open window or the desktop, will still have the lable above it.
The lable will stay there untill you minimise something to the dock or mouse back over the dock.
I need someone who has DirectDraw/Direct3D experience ![]()
After you right click don't click/open anything from or on the dock...
Here's a screenshot to prove it.

Just right clicked on this page in firefox and the lable was still there, only dissapeared after I minimised paint to RK
I think the slowness on the NVidia cards comes from the way the driver handles the Direct3D clipping on region windows...
that's why I need to know how WindowFX does the anymation with DirectDraw...

This doesn't happen for me either....first, if I rt-click anything on the dock, mousing over other dock items does nothing - the rt-click menu is still there waiting for me to do something with it. If I go off the dock and click the desktop or some other app window, the rt-click menu from the dock item goes away as does the label over the item....just as it should.
I noticed a "bug" in the Magnification algorithm (i think it's only an imperfection).
When you move the mouse right-left on the dock, you can see that the icons make
a little "jump" of 1 o 2 pixels when the magnification began to zoom them (in or out).

I have noticed this too.
It's a "bug" present in the older versions as well..

Hang on, do I need windowsfx for this to work?

No, raduking is only saying he'd like to know how windowfx grap the window
and animate them throw DirectDraw to solve the nvidia cards problem.
I kinda skimmed through all the post didn't see this problem
hopfully it hasn't been posted already...
the problem is when i add an app to the minimize exclusion list it wont do anything i click the minimize button and it wont even goto the taskbar.. i don't remember having this problem on my home computer..
