Problem: When RKLauncher saves it's settings it uses forward slashes (/) when it should use backslashes (). This causes programs to not seem to save their settings, such as KKmenu.
What's wrong with that is / are usually used in web addresses, and tend to be used when viewing files on the computer, therefore the computer can get confused and not show things correctly.
Solution: Have RKL use instead of / when saving settings.

Is it just me, or can I not drag items onto the dock with the new nightly build?

I have set the dock to hide the taskbar and somethimes, when i am opening closing or minimizeing windows the taskbar will appear. The option to hide the taskbar will still be checked but thew taskbar will be there. I am NOT using the nightly build. Thanks for any help in advance.
i know how to fix the genie! when you go to put the genie effect into the plugins folder you need to cut and paste it after you unzip it into the plugins folder and then restart rk launcher! hope it works otherwise you dont have a good enough graphics card.

Clean Install, changing skin and i get the error report box up saying RK Launcher has encountered a problem and needs to close, and that Microsoft are very sorry for the inconvenience caused, no idea why, not even their software 
If you could offer any hinters Radu be appreciated i like RK Launcher and want to get it working.
Ive tried so far, skins by Stefanka (Longhorn Glass) and a Minimal looking skin comes with Clear, Black and White versions cant remember the author.

Build 255 has fixed the drag item to dock bug....and I guess I didn't realize you needed to hold down the CTRL key while "clicking and holding" on a folder icon to make the contents appear - so that works too....RK: could be clearer in your features list in the Nightly Build thread...say "CTRL click and hold" as opposed to just "click and hold"
You don't have to "CTRL click and hold", just click and hold. It only takes like 2 seconds.
Dang....it works today....yesterday I must have held the button for 20 seconds and nothing....maybe the restart from this morning shook it loose. Thanks
Nightly 258 chrashes after a view hours with the standard Windows Error Message (...blablabla has encountered a problem and needs to close blablubbla...).
This happend three times, in random hour amount, since I've installed it yesterday. I've did nothing special at this times. Just surfed a bit threw the internet, made some Icons for an other Forum using PS or did nothing but let the computer run...
As far as i know you should not post any bugreports on the nightly build versions.Those versions normally aren't stable and some features are missing.
So where do I have to go for nightly bug reports wich occur after hours? And why did hallf and Laertis can post nightly bugs over here? (only mentioning names fom page 20...)

I attempt to only post bugs about nightly builds that are specifically called out as "working features" in that release as listed by RK in the first post of the "nightly release" thread or I will post "regression" bugs....a feature the worked in a previous build that no longer works in the latest build. I think a developer would like to know that either a new feature he thinks is implemented doesn't work, or that a feature that used to work was suddenly broken in a new release - not all developers have the time to do full regression testing...especially on minor builds.
If this is against RK's wishes, I will stop.
Ya, about no bugs for nightlys. It seems a little bit drastic. I know Radu said that it does this only to show to community that the development didn't stop. thanks for that.
But with every new build he implements some new futures and fixes some bugs (as far as i can see) and inevitably new bugs will show their hedious head. What we do about this bugs? We have to suppose that Radu knows about them already? Or what?
Anywho, I am very happy with the last build. Not once even faked a crush or anything. It's just great. Radu, you are the King.

Speaking of bugs, I have a couple of them with LNB (258): the position of the new apps in RKL is not remembered; also there are some app that sometimes does not appear in the dock when I open them.

when i played movie with media player classic the RK launcer bar keep on blinking
ALL or the desktop blinking except the movie
strange.... i'had to unload it when i played on media player classic

the aladin lamp does not work with my computer aswell, it used to cause a directx error, and now it dosnt do anything but make a ghost docklet.
windows xp media center sp2
intel premium 4 cpu 2.80ghz, 2.79ghz

and its a 128MB intel Graphics card
If you want to be a beta tester and report bugs on nighties you can make a list
of the bugs and the way to reproduce them and then send that list to me together
with you messenger ID and if I find the list usefull i'll add you as a beta tester
I seem to be experiencing crashing with the new nightly build.
I had downloaded it last night and deleted my RKLauncher folder and started over from scratch. I am currently only using one docket(Trash) everything else on the dock is just shortcuts.. It seems to crash with stuff minimized.. not mattering how many items.. its random really. I could have a miranda chat window minimized & itunes & firefox and it would be fine.. then ive got just the chat window minimized and it will crash.. 
post deleted... Shame on me!
It's that task manager in the picture? If it is u may want another opinion, let's say from Process Explorer.
Anywho, u heard Radu about bugs and beta testers and all this stuff. So, do that.
