Aqua-Soft ForumsAll seems very nice, but the pinstripe theme is still a tad buggy when used with TBE (or without, in some cases)...

ANY extensions MUST BE instaled BEFORE replace classic.jar with Pinstripe theme!!!
Even when I install Popup ALT attrib (or Open with IE) extension with Pinstripe - Firefox become crappy :rant:
Solution: save your original classic.jar and if you want to install an extension just replace it with original - install extension - close/open Firefox and then replace original classic.jar again with Pinstrine classic.jar... uhhh 
In all I have Firefox + TBE + CompactMenu + Popup ALT and its all works
waiting for Pinstripe preferences patch... 
Important Hint for Dummies (Take One);
Do not copy & save in notepad the contents of brand.dtd. Firebird keeps ignoring my right-click key so I thought I'd just paste it into notepad. Don't do this. You'll get an XML parse error. Be good and download the original.

This is utterly bizarre. I downloaded and started using Pinstripe last night; it was beautiful and worked fine (thanks to all of you working on this).......
Then this morning, I woke up, opened up Firefox and found this:

It looks like Firefox just simply isn't loading the theme or is loading it as if it is blank, so everything just goes unformatted and plaintext...
I haven't done anything since I started using Pinstripe (extensions were all already installed beforehand). Can anyone help me with this problem?

I would delete the "xxxxxxxxxx.slt" folder, and uninnstall firefox, then innstall it again and innstall all the extensions, then innstall the skin!!
just reinstall firefox and reapply the pinstripe.jar file in the chrome directory.

Correction - Ignore the "using both methods can mess up Firebird", it worked fine for me. But I don't think you NEED to use both CompactMenu and the CSS file. Open the customize menu and simply drag the File, Edit off and they'll dissapear. Now move the buttons up as well as moving the bookmarks bar up (to where the buttons were) and click; View > Toolbars and uncheck Bookmarks toolbar.
So Step1 should read;
[sTEP1] CompactMenu
1. Copy your entire x:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\ folder to a safe place. You will probubly need to copy-paste it back later.
2. Close Firefox and (keeping a copy), replace the Pinstripe Classic.jar with the original one.
3. Right click and save the PNG.
4. Go to x:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\Chrome and open Compact.jar in WinRAR.
6. Browse to skin\classic\compact\ and replace the original PNG with the saved PNG.
7. Close Winrar.
8. Open Firefox and check the extension is installed (Options > Extensions).
9. Use the Edit > Toolbars > Customize and place the CompactMenu button down and pull the File, Edit menus off.
10. Close Firefox.
11. Replace your, now, original Classic.jar with the Pinstripe one.
12. Restart Firefox. If it is messed up; Close and replace your x:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox folder with the Backup copy.
13. Move all your buttons, address bar and search bar upto the, now, empty top row. Move your bookmark row to where the buttons/address/search were and then deselect the Bookmarks Toolbar from (CompactMenu's) View > Toolbars > Bookmarks Toolbar.
That should work, elimate step 4 (which is labelled 3 
) and save a little time.

FIXED-UPDATED TUTORIAL
One more bug in Pinstripe: a dropdown under edit field is ok but... look at the screenshot. There must be two lines of text "pinestrip theme" and "procedure" and if I use keyboard arrows I can choose but appearance is not good...

Worked for me like a charm, this skin is pure class definitely my new default browser hands down, wating for the Preference options style, sweet job guys.

On my box the "-" also remains in place after changing the brand.dtd >.
Why not place "- Safari" after if?

All the extensions work, as does the skin, to a certain extent... The problem I get is that the tabs are broken with TBE running, as illustrated by the screenie...

Hm, I already did try reapply the classic.jar etc etc... Perhaps I'll just wipe everything clean and try again.

I found in TBE in the Misc category the way to have the tabs set correctly when TBE enabled :
TBE options / Misc / "Use another Appearance for Firefox on MACOSX !

XP2003 => It's working fine for me....Got a little bug but nothing important....
You may need to re-create a profile on your previous profile. Make a backup for security then you shouldn't see the little " - " anymore....

Umm... Right now I make an experiment. Install extension without switch back to original classic.jar and :blowup: - FireFox broken.
Then I restore it from backup without any extensions
Install CompactMenu - apply Pinstripe - install Popup ALT -> :rant:
Restore from backup...
Install CompactMenu - apply Pinstripe - looks good 
- restore original classic.jar - install Popup ALT - close/open Firefox - looks "classic" - apply Pinstripe - perfect!
restore original classic.jar - install TBE - close/open - apply Pinstripe - good but tabs are little ugly... turn on "Use another Appearance for Firefox on MACOSX" (thanx PlaysK i found it too but you was first ) option in TBE setup and.. ta-ta :naughty: it's perfect!
