MartinGy2k, the email button is from the last few Nightly builds. As far as I understand it will be a new feature from now on. I kind of like it. It lets you acess your email directly from Firefox.( In my case Thunderbird)
[release] Firefox Pinstripe Theme
Actually I've been successful in tweaking the highlights so that they work properly. I just have two more issues to fix with it.
- Move URL text box to the right about 3 or 4 px.
- Move URL text block down 1 px, as you can see in the screenshot.
So, anyone got a clue which settings I gotta change? Compared to my previous problems, this should be a cakewalk for anyone with CSS/theme coding experience (not me).

Ok, well, ignoring the two bugs left in this mod...
If you want it, PM me with your e-mail addy.
Changes:
- New highlights on Location/Search textboxes, like in OSX.
- Now in proper FireFox Theme format, meaning you DO NOT replace the classic.jar file, instead, you install the theme like a normal theme.
- Reduced filesize to 513KB.
- Progressbar is animated like in OSX.
- New selected download background.
- Throbber in tabs and favicon work in tabs now, even with TBE enabled.
I think that's everything...
Congradulation, Relativity_17 your theme is really great. :staffs here: I just noticed two things the folder icon is the same as the bookmark icon. Can you change that back to seperate icons for the folders and for the bookmarks. Also in the address bark the first letter is on top of the the icon in the address bar. Really great job ![]()

Really? Can you give a picture of where it is?
If you just look at the bookmark menu you will see that a folder is a globe
*shrug* That's what I get for not displaying the bookmark menu, I guess... ![]()
I'll see if I can track that down...
Relativity, I e-mailed you the code to display the bookmark icons.
Id realy like it if there were a version without the back and foward buttons so far apart. Osxing should be about getting it 100% 1:1 it should be about makeing things look good and functionable. Getting 1:1 is only good if your trying to impress the ladies with your screenshots.

That's because your using a nightly build.
Open up the .jar file, add this code to \global\toolbarbutton.css
.toolbarbutton-menubutton-dropmarker,
.toolbarbutton-menu-dropmarker {
-moz-image-region: auto; /* cut off inheritance */
}

you people are so smart ![]()
Anyhow now how do i get uncrappy looking tabs?
Also could i request a version with just icons, nothign else skinned, cause it doesnt match all skins very well :/
Ok, I've updated the file so that bookmark folders work in the menu now. Hmm, webhosting could be a challenge... Lets see if my website is up for it. Anyone know the bandwidth allocation for a geocities site/hour? Isn't it like...1MB?
Problem is, I don't really have permissions for a public release...

Then I wouldn't release it at all until you get them - artists' rights and all.
*shrug* Fine.

I got the same problem. ![]()

It's because the newer Pinstripe.png is like 3x3 pixels... it's really tiny, so Firefox has to spend time redrawing the image over many many many times to fill the toolbars. The older Pinstripe.png is much bigger (something like 30x8), so Firefox doesn't have to redraw the image as many times... aka it's faster. Replace the pinstripe.png in the newer release with the pinstripe.png from the folder one.

thx a lot, that solved my problem ![]()
Thanx Relativity_17 for mod but I have 2 questions...
1. Why I don't see a down arrow when expand my bookmarks? (see attach)
2. No throbber with TBE active
. Is it some skilful settins in TBE I must to realize?
And one more strange bug... look at screenshot.
so hows this coming along now anyway has everyone just givin up on it????

id like to see more of the bugs fixed too. its SO close to being perfect. ive tried fixing some but i really suck at CSS.
heres my wishlist:
1. fix the options panel, the titles dont show and the privacy and advanced expand buttons are missing.
2. add a mail button to the toolbar.
3. in manage bookmarks and history, the arrow disappears when a group is expanded.
most of these have been mentioned before i think.
