I had Bjarke Viksoe's Outlook Style Listview double buffered once,

but I think ListViews is more complicated. But since you draw labels

underfoot, you already do a lot of custom draw, so why not handle

WM_ONERASEBACKGROUND yourself?

Actually, I realized that I somehow optimized custom draw to speed up browsing and it's not that flickery now without the double buffer style .

I just checked it after removing the style and it is not too bad.

I will release non-double buffer version and ask people what they think of it. That version may work in windows 2000.

I have two CD Drives on my rig (on CD-Rom and on DVD+CD-rw)... i´ve made shortcuts for both... but, everytime i click on the DVD ererything goes OK, but i click in the CD and it´s opens another window.

BTW... no matter how many times i adjust the size of the window... looks like avedesk, od, or the .exe file opens in diferent sizes.

EDIT: It´s like everytime i open the NeXplorer, the windows get a little bigger. After many uses, it´s almost the size of my desktop (1600x1200).

Yeah, it's a bug. I used a wrong API function in measuring the size.

Can somebudy tell me how search function works in a mac finder?

Is it similar to that in Itunes? Then, how does "search drive" works?

ok, I got a bug that's been bugging the heck out of me. I've got a folder in Program Files called Downloads. When I started using Nexplorer, it worked fine, but after a few days, suddenly my Downloads folder keeps refreshing itself every second or so. Makes it hard to actually browse it. I can't post a screenshot, but if I knew how to take a video I would. It's kinda annoying...I tried a reinstall too.

the search feature is the same as the iTunes or firefox, as you type, the diference is where, when you are in drive or folder.

vneuman, nexplorer is not showing the information in the lower bar of the windows,

(ie.: 24 items, 34 GB available).....

I have a problem with the icons in the left panel. They are horribly pixely...any idea why? All the other icons are OK.

hey you guys, pay atention to the thread... somen have already asked this...

Just replace the icons on the left panel for png's (just drag and drop the png on top of the icon u want to replace) and it will work fine.

please read the thread before posting requests/bug reports. if u read it u would know that there is no way to resize icons in the current version but vneuman might add it in the next one or so.

i did try dragging the png file to the one getting replaced, but...

it just generates an error and exits the finder... >.<

ok guys for those who might be interested I have now made another skin for NeXplorer

Building on what I have already done with the other version of the skin, I have extended the skin into a dark version. This skin is to accompany the Dark version of the WB JetBlack theme.

Thanks to bzeitler for his idea's and some modifications he made to the skin ini and search bar.

i know this is going to come off as ranting but READ THE FIRST POST PEOPLE!

Don`t double post bugs, read the thread before posting requests and when reporting errors be precise. Write what you do, what sys specs and write down the EXACT error u get. Don`t just say: "I`ve got an error". If u don`t say what`s wrong vneuman won`t be able to find it and fix it.

Also, i`m sure we`re all gratefull to u thecat2000 for making skins for NexPlorer but they should go to Skins>Releases, not in the NexPlorer bug report/beta release thread. Vneuman was very precise when he has what kind of posts he want in this thread.

I hope this won`t offend anyone, cause that wasn`t my intention.

Was going to submit it to the releases section, I am sure I will do in future

Can't believe post got ignored again. I'm currently working on my SmoothStripes (Black Panther) Skin for NeXplorer, would love to add labels with it.

I also have had the CD, DVD bug happen, otherwise, no more bugs to report this end.
