But have a question.
I used Lucida Grande font,and size 9 bold.
But the label's font is more bold,it's so ugly 
.Why?

You mean the icons in the shortcut pane?
Just drag a png file on any shortcut and it uses the png file as the icon as long as you don't delete or move the png file.

I think it's a bug by M$ or at least due to their poor documentation.
Sometimes it is fixed if you restart the app.
I will work on it.

only thing i can think of to add is the option to choose icons or png's.. possible from a right click menu. Also to add labels to multiple folders or items.. when i select all and choose a label it only puts a label under the first icon.. and they look so cool i would like them under all the folders... but when you have like 50 folders it takes too long to do it 1 by 1.
This works great for me, except one little problem. The label colors don't show up. Any ideas why they might not show up ?? I have tried chenging the color and restarting, but to no success.

Do you have windows XP with gdiplus.dll in your system32 directory?
If not, you can probably download gdi+ package from MS site.
the seperator is a bit too thick, how can i make it thin/3d ?
Fantastic speed improvements vneumann! Really really good job with those. The entire app is much smoother and the panel view redraws are much less noticeable.
Was it intentional on your part to make the icon in the Windows taskbar change accordinng to which folder is open? Very useful effect.
Looks like you fixed a bug that I was noticing but hadn't reported on because I couldn't get it to happen every time. (Whenever I hovered over a given item in NeXplorer for the same amount of time it takes for Windows Explorer to popup a tooltip, the icon for the item in NeXplorer would disappear.)

anybody got some windowblinds themes for this? the closest match i found was the powerdvd skin.
Is there any way you can make it so that we can save our sidebar settings so that we don't have to redo the sidebar every time there's a new version of NeXplorer?

In regedit, you can export the registry setting to a .reg file.
After you install it just run that .reg file.
This is an awesome application, you have made many features work better since your last release. I really like how the icons are more spaced out. I don't know what other people think, but I wouldn't mind to see them spaced out just a little bit more. Some of the labels still run into to each other. But I really do like this application a lot, keep up the good work.
Awesome work vneumann ... and great speed improvements, but it's still a little slow with Y'z Dock, Y'z Shadow, etc ... although i don't care

Two questions
1) Is there some way to stop the search once it started, I couldn't find how to stop it once the needed file was found
2) when dropping icon in left panel, the name changes small caps..is that intentional...can it be turned off
Quick update Available
Just overwrite on the previous version.
- You can set labels of multiple files at once now.
- Now you can put any apps or docs on the shortcut panel and run it.
But don't put a heavy program like photoshop cause it works with single click.
Lightweight app like AveText would be perfect.
- Some minor bug fixes in disk monitoring
- Right click in the shortcut pane doesn't select the shortcut now.
I can not install the new version... it quits when it says registering product.

not a bug in the app, but in the installer, it creates 2 links in the start menu to open the app, one called nexplorer, the other says launch nexplorer... i know you said you're just getting used to installshield, i just want to make you aware to fix it next time...
maybe try inno setup creator, i've used it, very easy.

but can u try to build a skin into the title bar like some other clones, it would be really helpfull cause i hate using perapplication skin. but sweet job!
srry to say but it runs like crap on my sys. my sys is not a 200mhz system as well. i'll wait for the next [non installation version]

Non installer version of 1.7 Beta is up now.
After you unzip it, run .reg file included and in the regedit,
change "Install Dir" to your installation directiory.
There's no difference between installer and non-installer versions.
It's just for those who had problems with the installer.

mntnbkr1065 - that was discussed in the previous NeXplorer 1.6 thread. A skinning engine will eventually be built into NeXplorer.

I don´t mean to offend any other developers, but this finder is just amazing... easy to config, beautiful and you really did a great job with the speed. I used a little... if i find any bug that isn´t here i post.
BTW. One cool feature - An option to export the configurations without using regedit... just export for some file .fin or something... and then import.
BTW 2: Another cool feature... suport for using the mouse button 4 for "BACK" just like Explorer, IExplorer and Firefox.
BTW3: Did i told that it´s an amazing finder?? No??
Well... it IS the very amazing finder... my default by now.
EDIT: I dont´know if it´s a bug or a feature. But NeXplorer don´t show in the Task of the ObjectDock.
