That seems to work fine for AVI files but not RM files (which I use Real Alternative through the Direct Show) to watch. I presume the same problem exists for QT files too.
Maybe you could add a custom list to the options where you could specify which file types to ignore?

Quick question ... I used MediaMonkey to add Covers to my MP3s ... and your app is not showing the cover art ... is there a specific way things should work for the ID3v2 in your app? I like the implementation, but I'd rather not have to change ALL my music ... that'd just take too much time.

I really like this app , using it right now. But it would be even better if you could add a reflection to the album art, i'm not sure if this could be done.

Unfortunately, WCC can't read all ID3v2 tag covers because the tag softwares use different methods to record a cover.

Ok, I guess I can understand that ... however I'm noticing that every once in a while a certain song might show it's cover art, and a song in the same album tagged at the same time with the same image won't show ... I don't think I did anything different with any of these ... and I know nothing about the spec for id3v2, however should i be tagging the mp3s with a specific image format, does that matter, or is it entirely independant of normal image formats? It seems somewhat random to me, however I figure you've got some experience with the exact issue.
Is there something I can do then to allow all covers to be read?

I can try to analyse it.
You can use mp3Directcut (freeware) to cut just 20sec of two songs of the same album. One song that shows the cover and another that doesn't.

Just note: the ID3v2 cover reader is a third party module. I didn't developed it.
just wanted to say your program is amazing! You can add it supports Windows XP64 as this is what I am using it on atm. Its a truly wonderful program and actually got me to attempt to fill up my ipod music folder on my comp which I have not done since day one!

Go to "Options>Player>Interaction" then uncheck "Exit when player is ended", then press "Apply" button. Check it again and press "Ok".
It should work.
Anyway, I'll take a look to see if there's something wrong.

I have it checked and CD Case refuses to close with Winamp, when it is 'pinned to the desktop'. Is this by design? Also have noticed that when coming back from a screensaver, CD Case is using 40-50% of my CPU. Any ideas?

I can't seem to get the progress bar to go on the bottom of the album art even tho i have selected and applied that option it doensn't show up.
Also the text can look really dodgy, when the notifier is displayed without background. Is there any way to turn the Offset colour off, as I think this is what is causing the problem.

Regarding the dodgy text:
1) nothing I can do right now to completely solve the issue
2) offset exists to help make a better look
What you can do:
1) don't use bold font
2) try Arial or Verdana font
3) try an offset color that matches your wallpaper (darkest) color
You'll have to try 'till you get a nice combination of color and font...

I just updated to beta 11 build 178 and there is still a bug with the notifier.
My setting for the notifier is "Always visible" but regardless, the notifier gets hidden everytime when i hover with the mouse over the music album cover! This was also with previous build.
