You have to manually adjust it. Just go to "Skin manager" and check the settings...

Bug to report in beta 10... I think. Whenver I use my mouse's scroll wheel over it, it crashes.

I have this same problem. Prior to b10, when I moused over the volume area on a skin it would display the current volume. After b10, when I mouse over I dont see the volume value at all in the tooltip, just the word "volume" and when I attempt to scroll it the program crashes.

I'm on WinXP Pro w/SP1, WCDC b10 build 2 and Winamp 5.094.

As soon as possible I'll take a look at this. If you have checked "Options>Notifier>" "On mouse hover", try to uncheck it.

In addition, there is a default XP setting that can affect WCC. It's named "ForegroundLockTimeout". Take a look at post #254: http://www.aqua-soft.org/board/showpost.ph...2&postcount=254

I have a problem. I uninstalled GetRight (horrible program, never get it) and it removed a couple .dll's from the system32 folder. Now Winamp CD Case doesn't open when I try launching it, when Winamp tries launching it and when I try reinstalling it. Here's the error:

"The application has failed to start because MSVBVM60.DLL was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."

EDIT: Right after I get that Windows error, I click okay it brings up another error. But this time only in the Winamp CD Case installer.

Error: "C:WINDOWSsystem32SSubTmr6.dll Unable to register DLL/OCX: LoadLibrary failed; code 126. The specified module could not be found. Click to retry again, Ignore to proceed anyway (Not recommended), or Abort to cancel installation.

Any ideas on what I can do to fix this? Thanks in advance.

EDIT 2: Thanks to www.dll-files.com I redownloaded the .dll now everything runs fine. So just ignore this.

WCC requires Visual Basic runtime 6 (MSVBVM60.DLL is part of it).

You can always intall this runtime when something is wrong: ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/softlib/mslfiles/vbrun60sp3.exe

Hi Carlos, i have a question for you.

When i play a song from a folder which has a cover everything works fine, but then if i play another song which comes for example from a radio and wcc doesn't get the cover it still retains the previous one, is it possible to do somethng about that?

I tried the regfix you suggested in reference to the "crash on volume scroll" problem and, unfortunately, WCDC still crashes.

I'm using WinXP Pro/SP1, Winamp 5.1 Surround Edition and WCDC Beta 10 Build 04.

Hi. Thanks for a great piece of software. I have a few suggestions:

1. I'd like an option to be able to pin to desktop, but fade to front for x seconds on rack change, then have it fad back to desktop again. I basically just want to see the notifier and cover art on track change, the rest of the time I'd like it to sit on the desktop.

2. I'd like some kind of unobtrusive control icons to appear over the cover when I put my mouse over it, so I can see visually what the hot spots do.

3. I'd also like the option to disable the hot spots.

4. Is it possible to have more options for the notifier text. Like year specifically.

5. How about, when a song is coming to an end (say the last 5 seconds) the cover art and notifier pop to front (as i mentioned in point #1 or failing that just the notifier re-appearing) so that you know what you were juts listening to. A reminder if you will, so that if you like the song and its on a new album or on a web radio station, you can be reminded of its artist and title.

6. add to #5 the option to show a visual and click-able ratings panel towards a song end, to encourage you to rate your songs after having listened to them.

Just my ideas...
