@steelfist: so you're having the same problem with Firefox to aren't ya? However, some other people don't, just weird, maybe Radu should have a look at it

@AdverseYaw: currently RKdock doesn't work with any docklets, docklets compability is yet to be implemented, well I hope so, it's up to Radu to decide whether to add that feature or not in the future.
I will definetly add docklets
and I'll add compatibility with the current docks: Y'Z Dock and ObjectDock
strange. your program uses more resources than objectdock normal at 6 mb compared to 7 mb. isn't a bad thing though. what really matters is the cpu usage and stability. the docklets capadibility is certinly an A plus.
oh yea. the 1.1 fixes the firefox minimizing problem
about resource usage, I have magnification effect off, and its uses almost 100% cpu time when i just move mouse over dock icons (i have amd 3200+), maybe text shadows eats so much resources i really dunno. Also if u will maximize/minimize any app its will eat like 2-3mb each time, just check memory usage for RK Dock. But even on this stage i like RK Dock so much, too bad cant use it right now because of little bugs. btw is it possible to do something with mark (indicator), its looks strange if ull compare to yzdock indicator, just take a look on screenshot (left side yz, right side rk)
I can make the current version crash by dragging an icon out of the dock and let it go while the dock is resizing. If I wait for the dock to resize and then let go the icon (-poof-) it doesn't crashIf I have any minimized-to-dock window when it crash, the window is gone, but the application is still in memory and need to be killed (either it was launched from the dock or from another shortcut)
another reeeeally small thing: when an icon switch for unmagnified state to the first step of magnification there is like a small jump forward and then the icon seems to go a bit backward... but maybe I'm just being paranoid

My one request is to be able to choose to have the dock bring a running application to the foreground when its shortcut icon is clicked. (as opposed to the current behavior of starting a new instance of the application.)

I just notice that if I minimize a window to the dock, then bring another window into foreground and restore the minimized window, it stays behind the new foreground one...

maybe this could be an option for each shortcut, e.g. it would be possible to set the notepad icon to open new istances, but the word processor icon to bring to front an existing window if there is one

- i second the request to make this a per-dock entry (shortcut) option.

The newest build has made all my icons turn into ?'s. All the png's were in a different directory than the default RKDock one, did that make this happen? (I was calling them from my objectdock icon directory.)

you can only use icons that have relative path's to the RK Launcher's main dir (like in Y'Z Dock)

nah... that will be replaced by a docklet (and it won't have the indicator under it)
Not exactly a bug but it's a little annoying: When I'm using ObjectBar with a Panther theme, "RK Dock" shows up where it puts the active windows title whenever I mouse-over the dock. Is there any way to get around this?
raduking this is REALLY a great app, I just replace objectdock with RKdock, rkdock is faster and smart 
My only question is, can we have better Asian fonts support in the future?

Is there a fix for winamp? I have my Main window and playlist editor active. when i tried to minimize winamp, only the main window is minimzed to rkdock. like others had requested i would really like rkdock to be in the bottom and when i scroll over it with my mouse, it'll appear just like yz dock. thanks for all your hardwork.
That has happened to me also with NeXplorer but I just blamed NeXplorer. I think the problem might be with layered windows.

After several hours running RKDock...uhm...dunno why...>.<
it seems that everytime you minimize a window to the dock, 2mb of memory (on average) are allocated and never released. Maybe the dock takes a new screenshot of the window (it could be resized to 128x128 to make ti smaller) but it doesn't deallocate it when you restore the window.
Object Bar has an option to use the active window's title up in the top left, like in Panther. Pretty much every program I've used affects this, except for Object Dock, so I don't know if there's any way to avoid it, or if it's even worth it. It basically happens whenever you switch focus to another window.
For me it happens when I click on a program like OD+ "drag thing" type launcher but not when I mouseover like I pretty much just do when I use RK Dock.
Damn, I like this. I hope a quite good working version gets released soon .
Here are some adivces from me:
+ Put an option that the windows don't show up in the taskbar (I hope this is possible, objectbar just eats to much ram for me)
+ You should add an option to slow down / fasten up the automatically hide.
+ I realy like the minimization effect on photoshop when you minimize your pictures...thats realy helpfull when you're working with a bunch of files, but when you minimize photohshop the tool windows stay on the desktop.
+Winamp minimized shows up black.
