yeah when it gets to the 2nd disk just hit cancel and it will tell you if you want you can install it later

then you go to the registering part follow it or hit alt-q to skip it

once thats done its desktop time

and then you will see how worthless and how much time you wasted it really is..

just kidding Its not as cool as I thought it would be, I (hides head in shame) never used a mac in my life and just wanted to see what it was like...

Now I will hold on to this just in case they improve this program cause for us themers this would be invaluable.. to finally be able to rip resources myself would be worth it alone..

I've been reading about 2 harddisk images a 3GB and a 6GB, I found the 3 gb at emaculation but would like to know where can i get the 6 gb one ..

it's easy! you only need to download/install ShapeShifter.. (but it's not free.. )

Oh.. and you'll also need FileDisk (Free) + MacDrive (Full Trial for 5 days) to write/read data from the Mac OS X hard drive image.

edit: oh! you can get the TiSuite skin from the xanthiceye site.

programs downloaded, ok now we got that out of the way..

Is it to much to ask for a small tutorial on how to do it..

It took me forever to get this thing running and just dont want to mess it up for the sake of some themes..

But seeing you got it done and working if you could write us a small how to. Im sure every pc themer including myself would be eternally grateful.. now we can see how it actually behaves so ports will be more accurate..

try backing up your hdd image then experimenting. it will be ok if you mess up.

Get a programme called magic iso (quick and easy iso making) drag the files you want to install in it's window save iso in pearpc folder call it anything.In your pearpc folder open your config file and change the filname on the end of the line pci_ide0_slave_image = to the path of your new iso save it and start pearpc after loading click the cd icon and there you have it.

i hope this makes some sense

Oh and to extract images from themes you need themepark save them to a folder in osx somewhere get elby virtual drive and macdrive software install them on your pc mount the osx hard drve image on your virtual drive and you can move all pngs and icons that are on or youve put on osx to your pc

ok there showing up on the cd but how do I install them I have the following on the iso

stuffit_std_802_x_install.dmg

StuffitSTD8.0.2.sitx

shapeshifter-12.dmg

and a few shapeshifter themes

when I try to open any of them it asks for a program but there isnt anything installed..

you need to install shapeshifter first (run shapeshifter-12.dmg and wait.. adn wait.. the installation will pop up..)

i think you need to log out and log in again after the installation.. then go to the system preferences.. look in "others" for "shapeshifter". unther the "Themes" tab (i think) you'll se a "(+)" under the default themes. clic on it, and then look for the skin file (you migh need to unstuffit first, just double clic on it)

That's what I followed

I finished the tuorial a while ago, actually (I got past partitioning in pdisk and whatnot, then I posted this)

yeah! dont worry! the "installer script" takes forever! on my p3 700 it started at 4~6 am.. (i think.. i was sleeping.. ) and ended at 12pm.. so..

applying a theme in shapeshifter isnt as easy as one would think hahaha

especially if you have never touched a mac in your life.. things are quite different to say the least..

but Im figuring it out SLOWLY
