Guys, look this thread has become very much out of control.
Please do not do this again, all I can see are hurt people and bruised egos as I stare down this street please make sure that this does NOT happen again by:
Growing up and learning that if a person asks for a specific amount of beta testers that there will be ONLY that amount.
Also please if you have a problem with someone do not attack them rather talk to them civily or as the BOARD says take it up with a mod.
Remember that these forums do have their rules and regulations and we ALL need to follow them to ensure that we are not banned and no-one leaves and a bit of DECENCY wouldn't go down badly, yes this is a great community but some of you seem to quick to attack or ask for things with people you don't even really know (I guess this makes it easier for you) but remember these ARE PEOPLE and never forget that they have thoughts and feelings like you so just stop being so mean and inmature and please consider this.

I am going to clean this topic because i think it has been crapped on enough, and for that i apologize to Vneumann.
Let me just state however a couple of things:
1.-Public Beta Testing was Vneumann's choice, it is, thus, not anyone elses call to go on about saying how wrong or not they are by asking to be betatesers. Regardless of how much time you have been here. I dont consider this a seniority= respect schemed board as some people do.
2.-A successful beta test includes not only people that know what handles are, or people that could spot errors in the code for that matter, but also people that some might consider n00bs, people that will in fact be the large majority that will be using the program, it is statistically incoherent not to include one or two representatives of this majority on your beta test.
For these reasons, i beg you to please, keep a leveled head next time. I wont warn anyone this time as the matter didnt go that much out of hand, i will however do so next time, consider this a public pre-warning.
Sorry for the long rant, but this elitist movement is slowly getting to me... 
BTW... this post was entirely written by a person who has english as a 4th language. I know how hard it can be at times and hate when people start whining at other people's grammar/spelling.

Thanks for cleaning up this thread.
I take some responsibility for casuing all this.
I should have beem more careful when I asked for beta test.
This was my first time requesting beta test so I didn't really expect this.
To Unbliever's (and others' who ranted at random beta requesters) defense,
they were probably worried that those random requests would piss me off and
keep me from doing any more coding.
Well, I am not easily pissed at such things so don't have to worry about it. 
If I stop developing for Aqua -soft , it would be due to my own cause
not because of someone else's comments.
Anyway, let's keep this thread positive and productive.
I think I may have found another bug... I do not seem to be able to see hidden folders, even though I do not have them hidden. For example when I browse to ducuments and settings\all users\my name\ I do not see "application data" for example. The others that get hidden are not their as well.
New Beta Available Now
The new beta version is finally here.
It will be sent to Unbliever and Autumnist for hosting(thanks!) and
the chosen beta tester will be given the links.
The beta testers are

1. Flickering when browsing : Fixed
2. Slow speed when browsing large folders : improved a little
3. closes when clicking on properties of recycle bin, my documents etc... : Fixed
4. Default Icon size in preview mode needs to be larger and support alpha transparency : Fixed
5. Blank start up when starting form AveDesk and Object Dock works with mobydock though : Still being fixed
6.Adding a color label when viewing desktop makes all drive icons dissapear

7. clicking on the resize gripper makes search in progress stop automatically and return "0" results : Fixed
8. Not a bug but now file rename. : You can press F2 for this
9. no icon for word documents in panel browsing : Fixed
10. escalator effect in shortcut bar when scrolling with the mouse wheel.
: Mouse wheel disabled for the shortcut I don't think you need wheel for at most
20 items.
11. selected look is clipped. I made a new png to fix this. i will send it to you if you want. : bzeitler will provide me with the new png
12. when opening up a new instance from mobydock the finder shows up blank (no toolbar buttons or anything) : Haven't tested this. will Fix
13. Icon Spacing to wide. : Fixed
14.DIviding bar can be dragged to small and you cant resize it back to normal. Have to restart to fix this. : Fixed
15.resize dot is not centered : Fixed
16. no minumum size : Fixed
17. copying files causees the app to keep flashing until something else is clicked
: A lttler better but not much improvement
18. Column browsing now uses a scroll bar not splitters
19. Arrows for folders in the column browsing

21. Preview background is white ( like a real finder)

The skin, is based on Windows or is proprietary from the app? If it´s proprietary, there are any chance of having a way to configure the glyths for the right side??

the titlebar is skinned by windows. So the glyphs will be wherever your windows glyphs are.
Just sent you a reply PM vneuman.. Looks fantastic... especially the bottom scrollbar --- for some reason it looks really professional that way. Can't wait to try it out.

The skinning of the window will be done by AVe skinning engine in the future.
You know how talented AV is so you can expect very realistic mac skin llike in
AveText and AvePreview.
And we will be able to share skin between AveApps and Nexplorer.
He is busy at the moment so please wait a while.

Beta Test #2 Bug Post
1. No item information in column browsing view. (it only displays the icon and not the information like "kind" "size" etc..
multi panel browsing is really here. The only thing that it is missing though is the ability to switch columns using the arrow keys on the keyboard. We can now browse up and down in one column but on the real mac finder you can browse over one column by pushing the right arrow key and back a column by pushing the left arrow key. This is a very useful function. It is not a must have after all a week ago we had no 3 panel browsing at all!
I am really not finding very many bugs in this version. It is also hard for me to give it any real abuse becasue I am not on my computer at home I am on my schools laptop which I have absolutely no administrative control over. I will post a thorough report when I get home from work.
This is coming along very nicely.

I think it may be a font problem. Did you delete Lucida grande font ?

1) When in panel browsing mode and browsing a directory full of PNGs, the first one clicked on (with mouse) shows up as a preview. If the keyboard arrow keys are then used to browse up and down through the list of PNGs, the preview does not refresh. This applies to previews in general for all file types.
2) The icon for Excel doesn't show in the preview in panel browsing mode. PDFs, Word docs, txt, mp3s, all work fine....
