This is definitely going to be a hit. The search seems to work if you do a *.jpg or *.mp3 of if you type an actual file name... you dont seem to be able to just type cal... and find all files that have cal in them. But works pretty good!
Just type *cal* and it will show all files with 'cal' in the filename. ![]()
Oh, and there's a new version already. It now supports tiled backgrounds.

That is what I have been trying but it doesnt seem to work for me? I dunno.
it only seems to work if I do *."filetype" or if I type a whole filename like word.doc
. Oh never mind... I am dumb *cal* It works Great Thanks!
I like it a lot already...very fast and clean. Also supports multiple hard drives *bows* Great job! ![]()
My only quirk is that it shows hidden files and folders by default when my own explorer has hidden files and folders hidden...any way to change this?
If I have a button for my cd rom and there is no cd in the drive, when I go from my d drive to the cd rom drive, the letter doesn't change from D:\ to E:\ on the bottom of the screen...
Another edit...it seems everything except folders don't show up...my files don't appear at all in this finder...any ideas on what could be wrong?
EDIT: yet again...they came back after I restarted the program...that was wierd...well at least you know that one person has had this problem. I'll try to see if I can duplicate it
Here is alist of changes in the next release (two days?):
Customizable toolbar,
Support for arguments (looca.exe -'C:\windows'),
Option for hiding hidden files
Allright?
beautiful...keep up the great work. this is a fantastic program so far...and the only finder clone I have on my computer at the moment (though I'm waiting for some of the other new ones...and the new felix
)
might I also request arranging icons by type in future versions? that would be great ![]()
again, really nice job. thanks a lot ![]()
I just noticed when going back and forward with the back/forward buttons, there seems to be a sort-of blink...I don't get that when switching from icon view to list view and back, the transition seems smooth...anyone else experiencing this?
Mine is very buggy. Take a look at the screenshot.

There's spaces between all the toolbar buttons.
The Search Bar is wacked out.
The Highlights in the side panel are all screwed up.
Any reason why some people are not experiencing this and I am?
