Many, many thanks for Looca pantoni...sorry to hear dev is stopped for now. My number 1 finder!
I just started to get hang of it

one question for whoever knows. Why when i right click on a folder, ZA pop up a warning that looca is trying to access the network? is this normal?
As far as feed back goes, I think bzeitler mentioned everything i had in mind so far except that the app load much slower than the previous version.

Also after playing about with this all night, I find I quite like it. Quite a few improvements made. Its pretty close to Nexplorer - but with out the labels option. Also in previews it doesnt show gif images (from the 3 column view) - other than that its great, and even better functionality since going back to the explorer style context menus.
Other bugs I found on this app where in the preview pane from the three column view, where it has 'File Size' and 'Types' they are the wrong way around ! - shows them like 'File Type': 46KB 'Size': (nameofpicture.jpg)
Pity this is the last one for a while, this one remains my favourite Finder clone for me.
why are you guys confusing yourselves?

for some od reason this new release takes about 10 seconds to load ................ the version before is fairly faster than this one

thanks for the release, I also have the same problem however with the long time it takes to open up, no clue why.
Yes for me too (did I say this already) ? oh well never mind 
- guess these are things for some one to pick up on I know the author released the source files, unfortunately who knows how to use Delph 6 ? - played with version 3 a long time back mind..but no idea :canadian:
Have to say I was suprised to see this has caught up with other Finder Clones on here too. What with the three column view and collapsable side bar.. just no labels. But I dont think that in itself is any big deal. its still a nice app its just slow at loading now ! 
mine takes 2 seconds to load...

By the way I have updated my version of the JetBlack Theme for Looca 1.99 (should work on any version though) Changed the add new folder button and delete button.

read the above posts for your answer. You are gonna have to change some things in the ini file
Whoops, sorted it! Great app and the right click explorer menu is much easier to work with.
one of the first thingsa I found I had to do was edit the ini file, as it was looking for icons that dont exist. Just the paths needed changing to your folders and icons. As mentioned above in previous posts. I copied a lot of my old settings over (just copy pasted them)
ran fine after that.

I've been trying other finders and even 1.7 loads a lot faster "3 seconds"

Im having the same prob as you. Sometimes it takes so long it seems like it isnt loading at all until i click to launch it again. But with 1.7 and 1.5 it loads basicly instantly so not sure whats causing it ?? a conflict with something else maybe ??
There also another bug i found. When in multi panel mode when i double click a folder i get the error message:
List index out of bounds (0)
Anyone else get this problem ??

I find it slow to load as well, I've decided just to keep it open and minimized until I need it.
The memory usage isn't THAT bad compared to 'other' Finder Clones which seem to run pretty high, so Looca has to be the one for me for now, this is slow for me at loading but is more kinder on the system resources
