Nody, Did you install overtop of Kabal's finderbar?

I'm also getting the same problem that Firecracker mentioned yesterday.

When you drag across FindeXer to desktop then a faint image of that file remains.

If you avoid dragging directly across the FindeXer Explorer Bar than this doesn't happen.

It resets itself when you select another item & drag it.

Edit: This doesn't happen everytime & maybe a result of draggin across the bar too slow. Just a thought.

Hey guys, its been a pretty busy day and i`m just posting to update you all.

had some spare time today so i started implementing some features from the todo queue - be ready for some nice usability features and improvements

@nody - that is the default behaviour for IE - open it up and fire up any bar and it will stay there when you next start it. Windows Explorer hasn`t been developed as much i guess or no one assumed was going to need custom bars, so it`s a bit more problematic. to the point - no, i didn`t get any strings mixed - sorry

@MickyS - i thank you Whole-Heartedly again.

@_cell - those are icons from the Ki-Ai pack, should be easy to find, P.M me if you can`t find'em...

@SirSmiley - there was a bug with the way i handled the drag_leave event, it is already fixed...

Is it OK to install this application on top of Kabal's Finderbar? Thanx in advance.

acastro23, I'm pretty sure it's OK to install this over Kabal's finderbar as this doesn't start up automatically (yet!), so that won't ruin it. My advice, just keep it installed, and wait till alianyn releases that reg file so you won't have to use Kabal's.

Wow! This is the app we were waiting for.

I've never felt comfortable using Kabal's bar. NeXplorer was ok... but too slow... and needed more development...

Now, all our wishes seem to come true.

Maybe, in a few days, we could say "this is the reg file we were waiting for".

I really know nothing about this, but it might help a little bit so I'll try..

Looking around about switches and things, the /e switch is for "explore" (it opens the explore panel on the left) as you'd probably already know, so if you somehow worked out or created a switch for findeXer then it would work? Not sure how difficult and if it's even possible, but hopefully this might help.

just downloaded and works lovely. Found a bug where I would get a strange dotted-focus-style frame on hover, but I can't seem to reproduce it.

btw, I've been looking around and I can't find there the keyboard shortcut for the other explorer bars are defined... I would love one for FinderEx, I'll keep looking !

works great, one problem, everytime i exit out explorer my findexer is gone. i have to go back to view>explorer bar>and select finderxer. how do i set it up so it stays even when i close my explorer window?

i see, well i only do that whenever i have too much stuff on my taskbar. what if i restart the pc, i hate going through styler and unclicking hide menubar and going through all that and finally selecting findexer. cant complain really, its a very convinent program.

Yeah, this program pretty much blows any other Finder emulation program out of the water. It's built in explorer, so it has the same speed as it, instead of NeXplorer, and it's a lot more customizable and way more Mac-like than Kabal's finder bar.
