I actually got in to Evanescence and few months a go, and listening happily ever since. I also have been spinning Female Elvis (Lisa Marie) on the turntable. My music roots go back to early Metallica & Megadeth, mixed with a healthy dose of Poison & Warrant.

For everything elvis could have been.. i'm hooked on Dread Zeppellin... Rasta covers of led zeppelin songs by a dreadheaded elvis. Their hit album is such a good steam blower, you just have to get over the very rare bad rap type attempts (late 80s early 90s waddya expect).
But right now i'm pretty addicted to Shane Macgowan... if you get a chance listen to these: Paddy Public Enemy No.1, Danny Boy, oh and Wild Rover (sm with sinead o'connor and soldat louis- soldat louis is damn good). Back in the County Hell is damn good too (uh, just a warning, he's good, but unfortunately slides into drunken bigotry very rarely which is weird considering his live and let live side).
