Hey Chris great work, i love it. I have a question for all of you. Is there any way you can put Your Drives on Your desktop like they are in a Mac? Also if you plug in lets say an iPod on a mac it comes up on the desktop. Is there a way to to that or a prgram? Thanks and great work
upon installation, there were two windows file protection dialog boxes that appeared... i cancelled... did anyone get those too??? and still, searchspy is not working for me...

Sure, its a pretty famous software and I am sure thousands of people are downloading it now and its a FREE software! You can't ask him to give you a fast site by putting in money from his pocket... Be glad with what we have..
I must go by what I said. If you look through the FlyakiteOSX 3 development thread you will find that somewhere I said "I will worship you from the day that FlyakiteOSX 3 is released"

I cant wait to install this. I might format my computer first though, There are so many things wrong with it. (Oh I meant things wrong with my PC, not Flyakite)

Yes, this version supports multiple languages, as did the previous, and the one before that...

As NC just said, yes it supports multiple languages. The installer itself is only in English now because before it was a mix of the users native language, and then English text for all of the custom installer elements, and to me thats just confusing.
So the installer is only in English, but everything that is installed is still universal for all languages. Your system files will remain in your language.

Once the restore point is created, a message box should come up saying it was successful. Once the message box is closed the installer should continue. If you have clicked the message box and it is still frozen, then you are going through the same problem a friend of mine has had, and I have yet to find a solution to.
I'll post about it in the NSIS forums and see if anyone there can help me out.
not sure if it's a coincidence, but i just installed this and now aquasoft's website is appearing differently. the fonts are a lot more bold now... it's only this website that's changed, is there something going on here that i can change back, some of it is too dark and unreadable.

p.s. i just saw the above post about the system restore... just from my experience, i (for some reason) had s.r. turned off. when it got to that point in the installation, it said it couldn't create the point and just skipped it and went on to the intallation. sounds logical it would do that, but maybe for a future idea, have it give the popup that s.r. is turned off, would you like to turn it on...

wow, great work on v3, man!
i looked forward to installing v3 after i screwed up my flyakite v2, but it seems to me that the same problem is happening again. i'm not sure if this has been addressed before and i'm just an ass that doesn't comb through forums and FAQ's with precision, but my taskbar and titlebar's are all messed up.
after i installed v3, i went to properties -> appearance to change the color scheme to graphite, and then i accidently hit "advanced". after i clicked okay, it caused my taskbar (with start, time/date, etc) and my titlebar to revert back to the "classic" windows scheme. i have tried the updater and reinstalling shell32, but none of them seem to have worked. now under display properties -> appearance, there isn't even a hint of aqua options. when i check "current user settings" "Tiger Visual Style" is unchecked, but when i check it and hit OK, it still doesn't appear under display properties
any help?

is flyakite 3 preventing system files to be modified by other party modifiers (reshack & replacer)? coz i want to change the files to milk theme (system files that is), but the only moddable files now are iexplore accwiz, cmd etc (total of 5) instead of before which i can mod even the dll files? what's going on?

okay. through an odd pattern of reinstalling, rebooting, and updating, everything seems to be back to normal with v3. I also ran UXTheme Patcher but that seemed to play no part in making the interface work again, because this is the second time i've hacked my way through by reinstalling+rebooting+updating.
but all that aside, v3 really is a great work. i don't know if its just me, but it feels a bit more solid and faster than v2 did.

good thing i did not have any installation problem... just one problem that chris helped me fix... the word icon...
