1. I use MSN Messenger 7.5. I believe Flyakite patches MSN into MacMSN,but it doesn't on my PC. Before I installed Flyakite3, I used a MSN skin from deviant, so I unistalled this skin, but still MSN didn't change to MacMSN.
2. I wanted to change zip icon to Mac like. Flyakite3 has zipfldr.dll in resource folder, but it didn't work on my PC.

Greatest work i´ve ever seen for a windows pc to make it look like mac. I love it THANK YOU VERY MUCH for the thousand hours of work . GREAT

I think you can try to reinstall the MSN Messenger 7.5 & WinRAR first.
Then reinstall Flyakite3's SKIN of MSN Messenger 7.5 & WinRAR.
It will be work.

I have another problem, though.
Before I installed Flyakite 3, I already chenged some icons by myself. So, I wanted to change to original icons, I mean Flyakite original icons. But I have no idea where those icons are. Please help me.

What I'm thinking is going to the desktop settings and hit default under 'customize icons'. I'll check into it.
EDIT:Never mind, we're screwed. And using the Rebuild Icons thing doesn't do anything either.

My only other complaint is something I hear is being worked on. The boot screen. It stinks. Sorry to be so blunt. I wish it looked like on the web site instead of this ugly HOME EITION text scrawled on it and a pixelated Xp progress bar under it.
I'll shut up and be happy now. I'll just revert to 2.0's until this gets dealt with.

You should be able to go back to the default icons if you have changed them with IconWorkshop. If it is not working, you might also try the Rebuild AND Repair options.
As for the boot screen, yes, I am working on that. It can NOT look like the website though, with the spinning progress animation. Why? Because. Unless you can rewrite the kernel, it isn't happening. But the text will be fixed in the update. On all my testers machines and mine it didn't happen, so I'm not sure why on some machines it does and others it doesn't, but it will be fixed.

By the way on Win 2003 occired problem with printer. Win said all the time, that port is busy. Also that printer was shared for local network and other machines printed perfectly. After uninstalling the print***.dll everything went okay.
One more quick thing for me to add here: I lost my file icon for .mpg files. I did not loose the association, just the icon for .mpg files. The icon showing up after the OSX 3.0 instasll for .mpg files is a blank, generic windows unknown file type icon. I had to use a third-party app to change the icon.
Excellent work, flyakite. I love your pack. Never bothered with 2.0, but 3.0 has me hooked. Looking forward to the update!

I guess you missed the apostrophe in my comment. I mean just revert back to the bootscreen in 2.0, as in uninstall 3.0's BOOT SCREEN, nothing more.
Heck no I don't want to take the whole thing out, not when it's completely prettified my Windows now and the icons are in the dialog oxes like a Mac and all that stuff. It kicks @$$!
About the Axailis thing-I removed it long long ago. And I REALLY don't want to put it back in just to hit defaults, so I'll try the repair and then it and rebuild together.

Download this: http://osx.portraitofakite.com/patches/ole32.dll.zip. Go into WINDOWSFlyakiteOSXResourcesole32.dll. Replace the cursors in that folder with the ones from in the zip. Use the System Files Updater to do a force update of the file (information on this is in Chapter 2 of the Welcome to FlyakiteOSX guide.That should work for you.
Flyakite, thanks for the reply, but i don't recall ever having different cursors for these actions, and which ever cursors i set now, i see them overlapping my normal cursors a few pixels to the right...
Is there any way to remove these cursors? Oh yeah, another question, where is the spinning cd cursor located?

The only thing I'm concerned about is that you used my battery system tray icon without my permission, and while that's okay by me, I'd just like some credit since even though it's a small contribution, the icons are all custom-made and it took me a looong time to do.

Crap you're right. I had entirely meant to add you to the credits while I was adding it in. I'm sorry. I'm going to update the site right now and the installer, so that it will be updated when the v3.1 update comes out in a week or so.

The new version changes the icons for Winrar and .rar files to that green one I like so much, except that's a zip icon and it says zip on it, which takes a bit from the fun of it (look I make rhymes now :cool: ). Now if it could be made to say RAR that would be a different thing...

There is one thing that concerns me though: When I installed the new Trillian skin, and then switched back to the original skin, instead of the "dots" symbolising what Messenger my buddies were using, it now says "AIM" or "MSN." Is there a way that I can return back to the normal skin completely? I've tried uninstalling the iChat one and everything.

The first install I installed the entire package, after this install, when running Movie Maker, I received the error message "the file for video transistions and effects is missing". After unistalling the entire package all was normal. A couple of icons would let go, but a cache rebuild did the trick there. I reinstall, this time I specifically tell the install to NOT install the Movie Maker skin (not sure if that's the only thing in the pack pertaining to MM) and I get the same error message. I don't use Movie Makie so no loss here, but others may be affected. I'm still trying to figure out the searchspy, I think the errors I am having there are of my own doing. I'll let you know. Anyway, congradulations on a job well done.

What movie maker skin? The problem is moviemk.exe. Installing that file causes that error. There is NO way to avoid it when that file is modified. For some reason, the minute moviemk.exe is moddified, it gives that error. To fix it, just simply uninstall moviemk.exe, or don't install it when installing the pack.
And of course if I don't include the icon for Movie maker, people complain, and if I do include the icon, people complain. Everyone wants more more more, and then I do, and it causes problems or it uses up more memory, and they complain again. No one understands how it works, and whenever I don't include features, people are always like (why don't you do this, or this, or how come you don't include this?), etc. etc. I'm not targeting you, I'm just simply stating that I include what people want, and then it causes problems, and yet when I don't include it, all I do is get e-mails that I missed so and so icon.
