Please make remove (on right click) to be available on EVERY desklet. You need to open control panel to close some desklets like SysStats.
Support fore more desklets like Konfabutators widgets (not just object dock). Avedesk is better program butt I still use konfabulator because it has better widgets. (on avedesks weather desklet is not my city, on konfabulatorsn it is).

I don't know If somebody posted it before, because I don't have time to read all this wishes now. 
In my opinion, one of the avedesk's bad point is about the desklets. Just a few people know how to program, but a lot of people know how to make simple scripts (like konfabulator). Thats why other apps have much more desklets.
So, how about make the desklets OpenSource?
It will give an opurtunity for some ****ies learn how to make desklets easyer. Other ones will have the ability of making new desklets based on old ones.
What do you think?
Not sure if this has been brought up before or whatever and I don't feel like reading about it but I think this is a pretty good idea, at least it will help me a lot. Anywho...
As far as desktop Icons go, if this is at all possible, if you create an icon for a folder or icon on the desktop, can you make it so the original disapears?
What I have been doing is putting my To Be Sorted icon over the To Be sorted folder on my desktop, and when it moves it becomes a minor inconvienence (like when I accidentially sort the icons on the desk)
This feature would be great for anyone who would like to use bigger icons for some things on their desk, while being able to maintain use of normal sized, normal Windows icons.
maybe avedesk 1.3 could have some of the expose features (i just pressed F8 for the first time and saw this magnificant animation that i never knew avedesk 1.2 could do!

I know what I'll say is small and stupid, but I don't like that confirmation box for quiting Avedesk.
If someone right-clicks and then chooses to quit, I don't see a need to make him confirm. Don't see how he could make this action by mistake.

i would love to see a new way of animation. lemme take avetunes for example (skin.ini):as long i see, easyanimation uses pngs as background, but while this pngs are shown, all set values can not be shown. it would be great to be able to play animnations without this side-effect. would be smooth.

A nice feature according to me would be to able disabling desklets.
A desklet is loaded and displayed on the loaded desklets list, but can be made not to appear on the desktop and not interact, when disabled. It will make desklets like FTP drop, icon converter much easier to use. Also weather, RSS feed etc will become usable for dialup users.
what's missing for me is linked with cd/dvd-drives:
1: you should be able to select different images for different mediatypes: cd/dvd/empty cd/empty dvd
2: i noticed that the showing of icons is buggy, it didn't show me the icon for my dvd drive though it was mounted ("Hide drive when it isn't mounted" is selected)
3: for removable drives: it would be cool if the icons could auto arrange...--> when you unmount one drive, and other ones are "below" this one, they rearrange themselves.
btw... where can i get avedesk1.2? i downloaded 1.1 from this page yesterday and thought it would be the latest :-/

Also, the ability to view the number of files on a drive (similar to the functionality of a folder PidlShortcut). If the option is available, I must've missed it.

Adove SVG support would be nice :-D (check out the FFox installation method in order to find the plugin DLL. I would assume it's needed for any API calls).

I like to see ability to TOGGLE instead of completely Uninstall Modules to disable it's affect: For Example: Drop folder/app to desktop module that SPAWNS a clone of them, Hide Desktop apps when Ave is started, etc. Nice Feature There As Is, would be less to do & more convenient IMO
Sheeze, i'm hard press to come up with much worthwhile today if anymore at all, but something new is sure to come to mind. THIS PROGRAM IS 'DA BOMB as they like to say. I can't get enough of it, and i am 100% positive this is only the mere beginnings of many more Outstanding additions to take it on to yet another level of perfection that's waiting in the wings.
One old and some new requests
Old: Will fine, that pidShortcut can open (switch) saved themes. I posted about this in bug sections, and you answered (thanks) - but those solve don't worked. AD freezes at open one theme from another. In addition - make fade in/out at open/close/switch themes optional, for quickliest switching.
New 1:
Mouse gestures on desklet? ie. R.click+down - hide, r.click+down+left - delete desklet, r.click+up - duplicate etc.
New 2:
Templates for desklets (includes important predefined properties for that desklet (size, label, transp. etc. and specific). And option "New from template" (may be with mouse gestures )
For Notes desklet - picture and/or color presets.

AD became better and better.
the biggest thing i want is a desket for foobar.. like Avefoobar, lol , sounds weird =.=.
because i think Itunes sux, i hope andreas can work on it =)
even though i know it's a bad example..i bet everyone wanted it desperately, because i heard a lot of people having trouble with Itunes, and couldn't get it working.

They don't like that ...it'll come on its own schedule.
