WTH do you mean by, "I have the right one, and you have, well, that other option... "
Just because I prefer it how I do doesn't make me less right than you.

It was a joke man, chiiillll....
I like the smooth transition and on my laptop Presario 2710 PIII 1.3, 256Mb with Radeon Mobilty 7500 32mb works good, but only on first run. ![]()
In fact, after some mouse movements and clicks, the dock starts to be slower and crap.
I don't know why, because I've the lastest catalyst drivers and DX9.
So, I've decided to back to OD, even if it doesn't all MD's grat functions (DX engine, popmenus, mailchecker...).
Any help or suggestions are appreciated.
However, great work Moby.
I don' like i.
It's nice, but some things get weird... I put an icon for OE XP and when i clicked on it the program showed up unskinned!
And the look and feel was not that good... I dislike the crystal icons and the xp bg, and it's a little slow even with the newest drivers. I didn't like the fact that i cannot see the alterations in real time, nor the slide bar for the icons without any hint about the pixel sizes we got. But i do liked the mail feature, t'was great!
Well... For now i'll be back to OD. But i'll always testing those new docks! Oh, and keep up the good work, moby. This piece of programming is quite impressive.
Cheers,
Wys @ Brazil

I agree, it is kind of a pain in the ass to swtich backgrounds, but we really don't do it very often. Although while I've been working on my Jaguar Shadow background (almost done!) it is kind of annoying.
Good point though, it does need to be included. I totally understand why there isn't any easy method yet (we all whined like little babies to get the dock out the door) but I'm sure as with the Ignore List there will be GUI tabs to edit those in the comming versions.
I think Moby tried to get all the big stuff in, so we could beat away at it and he could fix bugs and add all the little details that make it easy to use. I don't think he was trying to be a jerk contrasutra just pointing out there's a need for this in the GUI.
Stop arguing you two and roll around in your new dock for a while ![]()

I just installed this - using Ti4400 with latest drivers - it sure is out of focus, even while magnified.

hi lynchknot,
i think you have to set the mipmap-level quality to a higher level.
go to display properties->stettings ->advanced. now to the nvidia tab. under Direct3d you will find settings for the mipmap-details. change them to highest quality and report if this improves your picture-quality on mobydock !

Hello Moby - first of all, thanks for the great dock - and helping me - ![]()
I have set it to best image quality and it has improved a great deal - except 3 icons.

hi lynchknot,
nice that my hint could help you. i think the bad image-quality from the 3 icons on the right is a result of bad templates. i guess these are default images from the apps you are running here. you didn't set up custom images for them, right ? at the moment, mobydock can only extract the 32x32 icons from the apps.
right-click the items with bad images and setup a higher quality custom image for them. should help !

Damn I had no idea you could do that ![]()
w00t w00t!
That is one sweet feature, no more los res icons!!!
Thanks for pointing that out! And thanks even more for implementing it
Awsome job Moby. Truly amazing. ![]()
Moby, One thing. I have my icons located inb a separate folder by categories... is there a way to add a "browse" feature when somone wants to select a different icon? Presently you have to have the icons in the MobyDock directory.
