hollywood.com or fandango.com may be helpful as far as the movie stuff goes for showtimes and such.

also with fandango you can buy the tickets directly through them

how about for now we just have a button or link to the site

otherwise, he may have to implement some kind of secured shell that might not be too easy to handle

well you wouldn't need the secured shell just for the showtimes and reviews, but i do agree about the security aspect.

either way it's a thought

and a good thought too...

solving it could be easier than i stated tho since Merlin already uses IE as its base

tho a gecko base would be MUCH better and faster...just not as easy

Excuse me, but posts like this show that regardless of what you say you're a n00b. You keep yelling at people not to pester and hurry the developers. Don't do things that you say you don't accept. Or keep quiet.

was I ORDERING him to do anything?

no

Was I begging?

Was I 'hurrying him along'?

I was offering assistance, more than anything

so take your sanctimonious crap and put it where the sun dont shine...

Let me choose....in my opinion you were 'hurrying him along' using nice and not straightforward words. Apart of that double posting is unwelcome.

Thanks for calling me sanctimonious :D I take it as a compliment.

in the future, refrain from such assumptions about me and we will get along just fine.

you dont know me, you only know what you hear in the gossippy circles of this site...so please, enough with the stirring of drama, ok?

lies do not equal truth, no matter how many people spread them

1. In the future I will assume as much as my mind allows me to, as long as it is clear like now. We don't have to get along at all, I can sacrifice it for the sake of this community's equality.

2. My knowledge about you is based on your posts here and therealduckie.net [yes, I am one of the lame asses that don't register :)] I never heard any gossip about you. Sometimes it seems to me that you are the one that is creating this gossip, I heard about it only from your posts. And you, by using such expressions, are 'stirring the drama'.

OK, back to the topic, we don't want it to be closed.

@Duckie & Pe7er: Whoa guys take it easy. Yes I had some delays with the release. Weather.com has some issues with certain zip codes and it decides it is going to change its XML output on me as I am releasing the app. So I have to update that. and I am also working out some other smaller bugs that have been annoying the hell out of me.

Please dont argue about that kind of stuff, it leads no where and just gets the topic closed.

@Grim: Already done! ;)

#127140

I really hate to bring up old topics like this...but this sounds awesome. I read the whole thread. Anyways, any new releases?

Also, the link doesn't work anymore. So I can't download it.

#276345

The build that was up was definately not worth the download. Project = OnHold until I can find some decent XML feeds.
