Ok i installed it Looks good installed Fine BUT i have a few ????
1. what size icons are in the pack ? im running 64 and my start menu is jaggy as sh##

Sorry for the pic being down I postd that image after installing the pack and my pc went in to a reboot loop had tio wipe my HD
couldnt even get to safe mode
PS im not saying it was the Files 
it had been MONTHS since i last refomated
Okay...major problem. For some reason apparently my shell32.dll was reverted back to a microsoft one, and like a virus (humph) all the pretty icons are turning back to M$ Windows icons (the standard ones)...
I try to reinstall the mod using the installer, and it fails...it keeps giving me errors about not being able to open up and write to files like (specifically) shell32.dll. But if the installer can't write those files, then my icons will only continue to change back to M$ icons...
What's the deal? How do you successfully "reinstall" (or re-do the installation) once it's already been done?
you will have to delete all of the .bak and .bak2 files in the windows directory!
I think the shell32 (and other files maybe) that was used is an older version. I installed the pack too and when I went to windows update it said I needed 3 critical updates (after I already installed all the updates prior to installing this pack)
I think you need to delete all the .bak files made in order to reinstall this pack - but I would wait until someone confirms my suspicion.
@DarkVageta; They are 128x128 I believe, and I'm not sure how to fix the jaggy Startmenu icons.. But I use Objectbar so I never notice them 
@croka99; Not to sound nasty but please stop advertising your installer in my thread, people can already see you've got one out and it's getting a spammish level. Plus you are not answering people's queries. :rant:
@Paradox; You can reinstall the files by simply running the installer again. You need to turn off the Auto-Updater otherwise the files will be replaced automatically. I presume this is with croka99's installer because mine works differently.
@lynchknot; Microsoft's site will ALWAYS say you need to update your critical files (shell32.dll, explorer.exe etc) because you have replaced them with edited files that aren't 'safe'.
Please specify which installer you are using, people using croka99's use the thread for help on HIS installer.

well i would but no one goes to my thread for the updates i post because no 1 knows what my thread is about when "your" thread has '[release] Aqua Sp1 Installer' and my thread is "croka99's installer".
and i would like to know who uses whos installer. i know i have over 800 downloads of my installer what about u?
and i do answer ppls questions at least i fix my installer instead of having the user fix his installation.
so if i were you i would back off!
also i tried your installer on a fresh install of windows xp sp1 and it screwed up my computer. and the uninstaller doesnt work!

actually the icons only go upto 72x72.
Please keep the talk of Croka's system file installer in that thread. Things are getting confusing.

I made my own shell32.dll out of a combination of iceman's and pack's, manually installed explorer.exe, cpl's. etc. and windows update does not try to replace them.
Works great for me Es.xxi, thanks for the installer, replacing System files manually sucks... lol

yea man... Thats the idea. No installers, just the hand
I changed permissions until the end of the month. This means you cannot download the installer until the 1st of November, I'm sorry if this causes any problems. I'm sure you lot can survive.
