Is this possible? I've only seen it done by Luna. Even if it is possible, the skinner who's providing the VS for flyakite would have to change it before the release to have it included. That's a big hassle for a little eyecandy.

I don't want to release it full of bugs to get a ton of e-mails asking for fixes. I'd reather test it a lot myself before receiving feedback from the comunity.

also, would it be possible to skin Outlook 2003 to look like the Mac OS X email program? (I forgot the name of it)
It's called "Mail" and I don't think it's possible to skin Outlook

guys, don't ask when its comming out. its a development, the author HAS a life. he is managing working on flyakite 3 REALLY well with his real life. I mean I could understand how most people could pull it off if they didn't have a job or anything but really people give him a break. I'm sure it wont be much longer to wait.

that COULD be an ok idea. although, troublesome for people without cd burners (if there still are any) however, installing flyakite 3 in safemode might stop some problems but idk. flyakite whatcha think?
Hmm, the problem is that you need Adobe Type Manager to apply these fonts, since they're no ttfs, but pfms. So in the Type Manager, I'm deactivating the ttfs and activate the corresponding pfms, as easy as that. But it'd be great if that thing would be automated within the flyakite package.I can send the .zip with all the fonts and Adobe Type Manager to you, if you give me your mail.
I'll see if I can downlaod the type manager. also, if you can figure it out before I do it would make all the difference in the world (I'm on dialup, a bit hard to download these things) try exporting the font. if possible in .inf that would make it possible to be in flyakite 3 
oh w8... I don't think it'll work. ATM uses Anti-Aliasing to smooth fonts... therefore, it requires the program to be in use to smooth it. the fonts them selves aren't smooth on their own.

I just reformatted everything and did a clean install of the new Beta V.3
It runs smooth as silk...Plus having it save pictures in the way that they are supposed to be is awesome!!!!

1st Thing...
I know i'm probably too late now but i think that the spotline clone you are using isn't very good. I'm currently using MacSearch (Found on Osx-e.com) which is the best one out so far (In my opinion). Although it does not display icons or have a "Show All" Feature its extremely fast and does not require Google Desktop Search. It uses a indexing program which creates a image of all your files (Only takes about a minute) and thats it. You can set it to auto update the image file too. It only takes about 4.8KB of ram and can be used without a taskbar icon (Uses the magnifing glass in the taskbar as a hotspot). If there's any way you could expand on it to add a show all feature and display icons and it will be Exactly like the one in tiger.
2nd thing...
Savana IE Browser. This program is a great program with a very small installer file that you might be able to bundle with your software. Unfortunatly it is not fully featured yet but there are no bugs with whats there. It looks exactly like safari (Does not have the RSS feature) but is a great program. It's also much faster then internet explorer.
3rd Thing...
Great job i hope to see this program come out soon thanks allot for the work i have no idea how you can make these programs ( I know about coding but what you have done is amazing). Thanks again.

I know you are almost done your software so it is probably way to late to say this but i'll say it anyways. I know your program code is probably based on GDS ( Although i might be wrong, i don't know much about coding). But i wanted to let you know (If you didn't already) about the program mac search uses called locate which doesn't requrie GDS to be running with a spotlight clone (Locate doesn't need to run either). What MacSearch did is they took the engine from Locate and used it to create a image file which has all the directories stored into it (only about a 2 meg file). When you open macsearch for the 1st time it runs the locate storing engine (In background) which creates a image file of your computer (This only takes about 45secs-2 minutes). After that MacSearch (A great spotlight clone other then it's lack of features) searches that directory. The directory can be set to auto update and stuff. The whole program only uses about 4-5K of ram and doesn't require any 3rd party software such as GDS. Another thing is it makes the icon Hotspotable which means you cans et it to the magnifindglass icon in the taskbar. If you could code your program to do that you would have a perfect spotlight clone.

Recall on the third page, "As a note, if a program you want adds only eye candy, and no extra functionality (or removes functionality), it will never be included."
