This almost counts: I am having the O Rokr's from Oakley shipped currently, so they should be here soon. They don't sound interesting, until I explain it. With an attachment it connects to your iPod, so you can play music through it. It also has bluetooth in it, so you can talk with it and have it be transmitted through your phone.
Let this stay, please, because I think it warrants it.
i put an apple sticker on one of my moleskines today, does that count?
Got my first Apple products a couple weeks ago--15" MBP & I shelled out the $$ for the new Airport Extreme Base Station. I am having fun playing w/ a new OS, plus the hardware is pleasing to the eye as well...
Congrats fever... now mod the hell out of it!
i have only apple keyboard and it is beautifull ![]()
woohoo! im gonna pick up my new 30 GB (i know, but its better than my nano (1 GB)) iPod tomorrow! I cant wait, especially to get "here it goes again" by OK Go in video...(i love that tredmill dance!)
Just picked up my new macbook from the post office!
Macbook
2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
1GB RAM
80GB HDD
I plan on upgrading ram and hdd in the near future.
getting a macbook in agaust, same specs as above.
i finally got my mac today, after waiting almost 2 weeks for it, they were waiting for a shipment from the US and it only came on saturday, so now im here typing on my brand new eMac superdrive, i know it isnt a g5 but i love this little guy.im not completely converting to mac, but it will be my main machine now, pc will be used for gaming only
I'm pretty much the same but I haven't yet bought a mac cuz i can't get the cash together, (considering that i've only been saving my allowance for about a month)
I own a 60 GB 5th gen iPod. That is all the support apple gets from me...
here's something i can't understand, if u can cram 24 hours of music in 2 gigs, and i've got 15 gigs of music that i haven't even listened to half of it, What the heck is the point in 60 gigs on an ipod?!?!? It's just been stupid after 10 gigs.
I just checked out how much music i've got on my pc, first thing u have to consider is that i have it on a huge bitrate, so the files are triple the size and i have about 199 hours!!! that's over a week of music!
right now my new mac mini was delivered to my work. after work i'll unpack the mac and play with it ![]()
and than: bye bye windows and no more emulation! ![]()
mac mini intel core duo
1,66 Ghz
1 GB ram
60GB hdd

*happy now*
You'll want more HD for that baby methinks
I got a 17 inch iMac
Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2 Ghz
1 GB ram
160GB HD
Superdrive
Tigerrrrrrrrr
And to top it off...
Hooked up my 20 inch LCD for dual screen loveliness.
I have several Apple-branded hardware. The first (although it's been long sold) was an iPod shuffle that I got for my birthday in 2005. After that, around November '05, I got an iPod. And about a year later in October 2006, I bought myself an iPod nano.
I did not own any Apple-branded computers until just recently this year. In February, I purchased an iMac with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor. And just about a week ago, I bought my first Apple notebook computer, a MacBook, also with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor.
iMac
MacBook
I just got the MacBook that Quillz menched above. I bought a Wireless Bluetooth Mighty Mouse. I also bought an AirPort Extreme Base. All awesome.
I Might get a PowerBook 3400...
Barely two weeks ago i got my Mac Mini! Its the last PPC Mac Mini that was released by Apple with a "stealth upgrade". And its such a smooth machine, sometimes i even forget i have a cpu beside my monitor because its so dang quiet, not to mention that intuitiveness, simplicity, effects, and robustness that i have so emulated in the past.
The specs are:
Mac Mini PPC 1.5 GHz
512 RAM
80 GB
Combo Drive
64 MB Video
I would have gotten the Intel Mac Mini but i suddenly got short of moola and just opted to buy the PPC instead from a local reseller. And i must say its one of the most worth-it buys ive ever done so far. It runs smoothly and i enjoy doing creative stuff more using adobe ps in it. I intend to make the RAM upgrade to 1GB soon as i want to use the mini at its optimum.
But i just have to say that i thought having a Mac will diminish my regard for windows and it did not. On the contrary, it made me appreciate windows more. I still love my Fujitsu Windows Laptop (modded to look like Vista) and my XP Desktop. I aint gonna leave those machines in the dark as they have served and are still serving me pretty well.
Peace.
I agree with contrasutra, I mean we don't want to know about you getting a new Mac, I mean, good for you, I wish I could have a Mac, they are awesome, but don't show off telling us about it.
*sigh*
damn it! I want a macbook! AAAARGHHH!
why can't I have one? I hate PCs, but can't afford a Mac, they're really expensive

Macs have a higher up-front cost, but I think that they tend to last longer than a cheaper PC. The thing about Apple computers is they don't use any cheap parts, for example, even the entry level Mac mini uses a dual processor, something that budget PCs don't always have. Macs are more expensive because you are paying for both quality and solid build construction, something very valuable, especially with notebook computers.
I know they're really expensive... but I really want one, I want one especially because they're the fastest computers in the planet with the Intel Core Duo processor...

contrasutra's complaint was nearly three years ago. Since then, we've been trying to keep this thread clean, with posts only from those with actual hardware in their hands.
In other words, if I were Unbe or anyone stricter, I'd probably ban you
