Now I have no idea what to do with it. It's my first Mac since the Performa 550! Any suggestions?

one, you should have upgraded the HD 100GB and sacrafice 500 mb of ram, (well, I would do that maybe you wont) and two, that's a F*ing nice computer you have! especially for a person who dosen't know what to do with it! 
yay i got an 4gen ipod 20gig!....my sis bought it from the states a few months back and gave it to me as a surprise after finishing my exams....i love it....now im gonna get one of those iskin ipod covers for it....it's sooo awesome! (btw i don't mind that it doesn't have a clour screen as i keep it in my pocket most of the time and also i have no use for podcasting....plus battery power seems fine right now so im not bothered 
) this is the best thing i ever got i will get a better one when ipods start to show movies lol.....which might be in a few years with the 6gen ipods

As far as the the 100 GB HD, I didn't realize that I didn't get that until after I had placed the order, and I wasn't too terribly worried about it to go through the trouble of fixing it. I mainly got this for fun/school . . . and it is something I have wanted for a long time. The PC world kept me in it's grasp for WAAAAAYYYY to long.

Got a "Old" base model mini for a slight discount. My 1 GB stick of ram was ordered today.
Frankly, its a great machine but its essentially inoperable with the stock 256 of RAM. Since I was going to upgrade to a gig outside of apple anyway I figured I should save a buck or two and get the old model from excess inventory.

i got my ibook g3 dual usb on saturday and i love it! it was my bros and he gave it to me i got it running onmac os x 10.3.9!
Got my Power Book G4 12" this week for school...47 years old and going back to school, now that's funny.
Already installed x11 so I could run the Gimp and Open Office...oh got a mighty mouse and an iPod mini also. Apple's got nice student discounts.
Dang you guys at Aqua-Soft have been a bad influence on me. I've got my 3.2ghz pentium 4 all tricked out to look like a Mac and now this....Sheeeesh!

My G4 iPod's hard drive got fried.... so I just got a new iPod today... still no color screen. Damn. haha.

Got my new imac g5 computer today 17" 2.0ghz 1gig ram.
pretty shocked to get it so fast, i ordered it from the apple website on sunday evening and it was at my door step on tuesday afternoon.
just trying to get used to it at the moment but my first impression of the whole mac os x experience is why isn't everyone using a mac computer now, comparing just the basic of what i've seen so far and with my knowledge of pc's which is extensive, its just so much better both in usablity and and in eye candy alone. Took me about 2 minutes to have it setup and connected to a wireless network, and yeah safari is faster than firefox on a pc. < safe to say im converted now for good. no going back to pc except at work.
Got an iPOD Photo today. 20 gig 5th generation. I really don't see the big hooplah with these things. Like I know what your thinking, "why did you get it then?" What I really mean is, even though i wanted one, I wasn't like really blown away by it. Like, I am still able to listen to music, lol.....that hasn't changed. I'm pretty sure i'll appreciate it more, when im noticing that i don't have to buy cd's anymore, like I was ding for my mp3/atrac3plus cd player from sony.

Well I've finally got loads of new apple hardware.
I've got an Apple Keyboard, Apple Mighty Mouse and the 20-inch Apple Cinema Display. And OMG it is sweet!
It's all connected to my Windows XP Pro PC. So now it not only looks like a mac on the inside, it now looks and feels like one on the outside too!
The keyboard's fully functional - I've remapped all the keys so that you type the exact symbol as on the keys. I love how even the volume controls work, and cos I have the 3r-1c volume control software, it shows the apple logo and volume level in the center of the screen just like a mac when you press the volume keys.
I'm using TopDesk for Exposé and I've managed to write a script so that when you squeeze the side buttons on the mighty mouse - it goes all Exposé on ya! Again, just like on a mac. Something that *apparently* you can't do on a PC.
Best computer purchases I've ever made!!! Damn this machine is good now!
If anyone wants the scripts for remapping the keyboard and mighty mouse let me know. I think I can release it as an exe aswell so that people can just install it straight off.
