It appears its the asian language builds of XP that have this problem, is this the case for all that are encountering this problem?

The only criticism that I have, Tig, is with your numbering conventions...
Typically, a "1.0" release means that it's feature complete (for some defined value of features). To me, this release would make more sense if it were a 0.x release, because you've got buttons that don't work, and so forth.
Not a major issue, just a thought, all the same - people associate 1.0 with a finished app, not an app where buttons aren't implemented yet...

And like theunknown said earlier in the thread, if people see stuff that they don't agree with, let us staff members know - much as you hate us because we all suck ass and so forth, our job is to deal with stuff like that in an amicable fashion. We could have easily saved about 2 pages of "wasted" posts in this thread, if one person had taken the initiative to PM one of us.
Unfortuanatly i think drag and drop would be near impossible? You'd need transparent images and xplore uses bmps not icos...but it would be cool if we could add items / change items and then change the image?

I Don't know about you guys, but I use brushed 3.5 Msstyle and I get Xplorer prefectly brushed on my screen!
Great application, but how do I change the ugly yellow windows Icons... When I use Explorer I have my beloved aquafolders...

Are you using IconPackager or a Shell32 replacement?
Xplore uses the shell32.dll icons

Xplore reads from explorer it dont read straight from shell32 it reads it from explorers settings as I have set my start menu with different icons and they appear fine in Xplore
I set thier Icons by right clicking the folder and going to customize then select change icon in Windows. But I also use a third party software Microangelo and the Icons I set with that are not working.
So to set the Icons you dont need to edit Shell32 you need to just customize the icons in Windows.
Icon Packager / other programs won't work, unless you change all your icons manually they'll apear explorer like. Just change your shell32.dll

We've all heard of ALILMS! Felix app its been out for a long time the latest version looks promising but the latest version is not out and IMO Xplore is far ahead of the previous versions. If you want to talk about felix go to Alilms forum and please dont post any more of your comments that are just trying to cause trouble.
felix wasn't practical. it had a major resorce bug, and u couldn't edit the shortcuts.

You can edit the shortcuts in Felix 7 you need the settings file I dont think it came with the brushed one though I found it in the Stripped version. Anyway enough of Felix back on topic

Felix may be part of the finderxp / smokescreen project but i think xplore is a much better app then felix.
