Hi aladinsrl,

Our collective membership all hopes that you have had some contact from some of our knowledgable members with the various .css help/assistance that you were requesting...a while ago...

I have been on a huge 'Milk2 VS kick' since my colleague Lennard (D'Blade) updated this wonderfully soothing VS, and your Firefox Milk skin compliments it soooo well...

Please (if you could so kindly) give us all an update on your progress on trying to pack the 'classic.jar' into a proper Milk.jar, and other bug fixes (if you indeed have had time to work on it), we would all appreciate it...

I have personally requested the assistance of my good colleague, Lynchknot, so maybe if he has some leisure time, he could take a look at it... Ken, not trying to put you 'on-the-spotlight' here...

;)

EDIT****

aladinsrl, if/when you read this, I have just got the 'green light' from our most treasured Firebird/Firefox themer, the Theme Genie, a very nice, kind man named Lynchknot...He just PM to me stating his 'willingness' to possibly help you out with your nice 'classic.jar' (Milk theme)...

I will also send you a email to your addy that you have kindly left above...I think that this should get the 'ball rolling' and help you out!

aladinsrl,

A PM has been sent, as well as a email...

Looking forward to hearing from you in the near future...

When we work this way as a cohesive community, then matters/issues tend to get rectified rather quickly...hopefully...lol!

:D;)

#133645

thanx a lot...i will send to u my progress theme..and what i can to do in css

i hope we help me.....

#133765

aladinsrl,

Well, I'm glad that you received my email & PM (I think), for I have not received your latest milk 'classic.jar' (yet) as of this post...

When I do then I would send a copy to Lynchknot (Theme Genie), and see what he thinks after he does his 'magical exploring'...lol

If I'm not mistaken your native country is Italy, so if we run into a 'language barrier' as both Lynch and myself are not fluent in Italian, maybe we can get one of our members (who is fluent in Italian) to help provide 'translations'...

As Lynch would probably want to know what you need help with...I know that repacking the 'classic.jar' into a Milk.jar is key, but then you mentioned that you needed help/assistance with .css stylesheet files...

Awaiting your email or PM...

Regards, and I know that all of our members are definately looking forward to this!

;)

Glad to see the great Firefox themers collaborating on this. Can't wait to see what you guys come up with.

#134073

Aladinsrl,

Besides the above instructions from the always gracious Lynchknot, I have directed him him to your older Download link @DeviantArt, and he was able to repack your 'classic.jar' into a proper Milk.jar without issues (I was on IM with him and he did it in 2-3 minutes)

Here also is a link @MozillaZine---->Themes Section, where the 'Heavy Weight Firefox themers' are discussing various .css style sheet issues, it might be of some usefullness:

Theme Discussion @MozillaZine

You also have another email...looking forward to hearing from you...

;)

EDIT***

Marco,

Thank you for the return email, will be looking forward to the 'ss'...No worrries, we are all very patient...lol

I got aladinsrl's Milk theme repacked into actual .jar and tweaked a little bit (removed some trash from the file, tweaked options, some font settings and changed buttons in the Download Manager to a more milky-style ones).

Still, can't get the animated progress bar in the DM to work.

[Edit]

Just finished version for the recent nightlies, with the mail button support and button dropmakers fix.

Get it here.

The compact menu and google icon replacements are not included - after all, it's just a mod.

Any feedback and bug reports highly appreciated.

Another release coming in. This time with full skin for Download Manager Extension. I'll release it as soon as I figure out how to make it more friendly for the extensionless people.

Edit:

Done. Both links have been updated. Enjoy.

Hi kyods, I installed your mod and I'm seeing this at the address bar there are two fonts working no, one for the actual address (this one looking smaller now) and one for the history list.

Yep, I see.

Here's soultion:

First, copy you Milk.jar file to another location, or close the Firefox.

Change the name of the jar to Milk.zip or Milk.rar. Enter the /browser directory and extract file browser.css.

Find the code:

.textbox-input-box {
border-top: 0px solid;
-moz-border-top-colors: #7C7C7C #C3C3C3;
border-bottom: 0px solid;
-moz-border-bottom-colors: transparent #DDDDDD;
background-color: transparent;
margin: 3px 0px -1px 5px;
padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px;
 font-family: sans-serif, lucida sans unicode, lucida sans unicode !important;
 font-weight: normal !important;
 font-size: 1.0em !important;

}

And replace:

font-size: 1.0em !important;

with:

font-size: 1.2em !important;

Save the file, repack, rename the .zip or .rar or whatever to .jar and enjoy. ^_^

#136205

Can anybody please tell me how to change the color on this page loading status bar?

#136555

I beleive that bar is part of your VS so to change it you need to change your VS unless there is a block of css code that controls it.

#136558

I can't drag pictures from firefox to photoshop, is that normal?

You can't, but there's a workaround. First drag the picture to your desktop, and then to the Photoshop.
