Wow amazing!!! Very congrat aladinsrl!
Only two things: look at my screenie,
the text in the search box is some pixel down the text in the urlbar, how to fix this?
and how to make transparent the little down arrow near the forward button?
@All: to change the blue highlighted into grey, go to classic.jar\skin\classic\browser and
modify xhov.png, leftcaphov.png and rightcaphov.png! (for example desaturate image!)
![]()
bookmark book icon is messed up, can anyone send a better one to me
Also
Is there no way to get rid of the down arrow in the navbar?
yes...i will fix it in the soon next release....
continue to post me if u find error...so i can fix it as soon as possible
thanx a lot
aladinsrl,
Ok...very good, as accepting 'constructive feedback' from our collective membership is the best way to achieve a 'even more' polished theme...
The grey oval boxes when 'mousing over' on the BTF (Bookmark Toolbar Folder) items need to be (if possible) a little more clean...(lower rt hand side)
Good luck with your anticipated update...
P.S. Also every so often the 'Search box' magnify glass .gif will have a little bit of the top image missing, and to fix this, you must click on the Search box...

good to hear, thats pretty much all that I see wrong. Actually just something minor not really bad, but next to the forward arrow there's a gray dot, or something
Note: Where did you get the loading gif of the milk drop, I love it!
The "grey dot" is actually a dropdown arrow for the forward button. I've talked to him about it and he'll be getting rid of it in the next release.
I have Fixed some Bug...and with the help of a GREAT PERSON my theme is been repacked...
and I begin a collaboration with Aquarius2003 to release safari and milk theme...togheter
waiting for news
Does this mean that we'll have a pixel-perfect 1:1 Safari Milk theme?
congrats on this release....
i've a question though, how can u change the title so instead of saying
".... - Mozilla Firefox" to "..... - Safari"
thx

Go to Firefox\Chrome folder, open En-US.jar in Winrar. Go to locale\En-US\global and take a look at brand.dtd and brand.properties ![]()
beautiful work indeed. No more missing TTTTTT

2 things:
animated bar like the safari skin by aquarius
I don't like the gif of the google bar, so I've deleted the google text, it looks much better, but the text input starts in the same place, not near to the gif, how can I fix that?

I cant change brand.dtd & brand.properties ![]()
can anybody walk me thru this please?
Make sure Firefox is closed before you edit anything.
Open up brand.dtd in notepad and change
Save brand.dtd and you're done.
The "Page" and "Google" text are .gifs in the searchplugins (I think that's what it is?) firefox directory
The "Page" and "Google" text are .gifs in the searchplugins (I think that's what it is?) firefox directory
What if I just want to edit the text, but not the gifs
You can't. You have to edit the gifs or create new ones. The google gif is in the Firefox/Searchplugins folder. When I had this skin installed, I couldn't find the "page" gif.
so does everybody have this strange look in their search area?

I am pretty sure that the 'abnormal spacing that you are getting for the Toolbar icons is due to the fact of the 'nightly' that you are using...In fact this 'abnormal spacing' of Toolbar icons has occured on a lot of Nightlies...not just your build date...
I found this code & quote from Sailfish, one of Firefox themers to solve this rather strange behavior:
Dan Kies, all I did was add the following statement to my global\toolbarbutton.css stylesheet and it seemed to fix both cases of dropped dropmarkers?
Code:
.toolbarbutton-menubutton-dropmarker,
.toolbarbutton-menu-dropmarker {
-moz-image-region: auto; /* cut off inheritance */
}
This goes into \global\toolbarbutton.css
Good to hear that this code fixes the back/forward spacing on nightly builds, but as Im a real **** when it comes to code, could someone be kind enough as to explain what I have to do. If I understand correctly, will I find this .css file in the actual .jar file? Well thats what I thought anyways, and repacked it using winace, creating a .jar, but it didnt seem to do anything?
Other than that, this skin is sexy :naughty:
The .css file is in the classic.jar file in your Firefox/Chrome directory.
Smokey,
Until Aladinsrl updates this fine skin, and repacks it into an actual .jar (Milk.jar) leave the 'classic.jar' as is...open this 'classic.jar' ----->located like hmai18 states:
\Firefox\chrome...then navigate using WinRAR 3.20 or newer to:
\Firefox\chrome\classic jar\skin\classic\global----here you will find the 'toolbarbutton.css' which is a stylesheet, which you will then have to extract somewhere (I use my 'desktop') to then be able to open it in 'wordpad' to edit/add the code...

are you talking about editing the word google, that appears after the google gif?
If you want to remove that, go the the searchplugin folder, click on the google SRC file open with notebook and delete "google" from name = "google", have it look like this name = ""
NEVERMIND FIXED
Buddyd16, my addy bar arrow is functional. Mine does bring down the dropdown list like it is suppose to.
