i just have one more small question....in his screenshot...the url that is highlighted is light blue...mine is dark..how do i change this?
is it a setting in firefox or in windows

Not sure - but when you open it, press TAB then SPACE
That will open the per application option. I have the same prob but it happened when I changed my system fonts in the registry a while ago. Pity Stardock don't make it possible to maximize the window
Awsome skin, but why did you take out the roolup button ?
I also think you chould change the go button icon to the compact meu icon button, right not the menu button is kinda unsightly

Look at the screenshots from Safari;
They don't use the rollup button.
But just to add on my previous post about the aqua-buttons - is there any chance to skin the drop-down menu box too? 
I'm using Shinter's finder skin, and of course with that you have to use the new marlett font - which leaves me with a blank button for the drop down menu and an aquafied one as part of the theme would look much nicer.
I can't wait to see the next tutorial on how to add shadows! :woot:

Well since I am not a very big fan of the Safari brushed look, I would like to get the animated progress bar working in the download manager of the pinstripe theme, would it be possible to post what code needs to be added or changed and where in order for this to work?

thats step 4, you can also just type about:config into the urlbox and then
1. rightclick, newstring, "ui.textSelectBackground" , "#CAE6FE"
2. rightclick, newstring, "ui.textSelectForeground" , "#000000"

ok, just finnished, and even after not using windowblinds, or even a brushed vs, it looks really good.
2 questions. with step 4, u include a prefs file in the pixelperfect download. are we soposta replace the one in documents, or just add the 2 lines to the one alread in there.
my other question is. i decided to keep the navigation bar ie file edit, ect. just looks better. but is there a way to move the like going across, or get rid of it. cuase its cutting threw all my buttons.
What image(s) would I relpace to have a transparent/no bg that would change color according to the VS (like Lynch's SAF-P)?

This is a Mac mimic community. The best way to emulate panther is Windowblinds with the per application feature.
Tomorow I will release the Apple DVD Player skin for WB. After I plan to release the default aqua theme for all other prog. After the theme for mail app, after the theme for the osx like menus, after the pixelperfect OB theme, after rounded WFX shadows for the antialias....emulation, after weather widgets for the finderbar. It is far enough reason to get wb and use it.
Alright, I have a few questions (sorry to sound like a nubee - yes the spelling is incorrect, but for some reason, I get asterisks for the right spelling). Anyway, as can be seen in the screenshot below, I was unable to find the correct place to replace the little mouse for the compact menu. I have included a search for the phrase "compact." I only get the one in Mozilla Firefox, which I replaced a million times - no dice. Also, it seems that the wb theme doesn't quite fit the skin. The wb theme complication is just a small problem, I am more interested in changing the mouse icon. Another small question - why am I getting the arrows on the far right of the bookmarks toolbar?

Amazin skin, practicly 1:1. one bug I hav found.
Folders placed in the bookmarks toolbar folder, when clicked on, show no start and end to the recess. whats more, they also dont hav any drop down arrow.
should be easy to fix (bin done in the smoothstripes theme), if someone has the images to share.

How Come I don't get the icons. I get the normal icons, but not the safari ones?

it didn't look right .. at all... so i re-installed the bits i backed up and so on.. but..
nearly nothing changed...
im on windows 2000 Pro..

WindowBlinds 4.1 public trial/shareware/demo whatever...
and this happened.. with the safari skin and with out it.. they look much the same...

Skin is an A+ however i dont use windowblinds and so far all the themes i've seen dont stand a chance against the msstyles ones. What is a good accurate windowblinds theme? Or is there a way that i can use my msstyles with the per-application enabled for firefox ...?
DeathMedic: You've replaced the classic.jar, or not replaced it properly. The GUI vanishes if the classic.jar file is missing.
Same here, if you could use both Windowblinds and Visual Styles I'd use the per application thing but without that choice i'm not using WB for one program, no matter how good the recreation, i'd rather use msstyles
BTW: The skin also doesn't work with visual styles because it uses the button images from the gui in the background.

It happened to me to, did you have another mod installed. If so I think thats the reason, because I did the mod over another mod and that happened. It worked after I erased the profile folder, and everything related to firefox, all prefs, and app and reinstalled new. After all of that, and doing the mod again it worked.

Hmm.....I have a question regarding fonts. I looked at the screenshot found in here (it's huge, 5.8MB. HQX extension, rename it to Tiff and it can be opened in ACDSee for example) and the fonts are different. I have Arial for almost everything and on this screenie there's Lucida Grande everywhere. Any chance for fixing this?
