Ok everyone, a small update on when I'll be back on smokescreen - my final exam for my BSc in Computer Science & Engineering is on Wednesday 12th of May. My plan, however, is to spend the rest of the week (read: 'til Monday the 17th) just chilling and taking time out from everything...
Then, from Monday the 17th of May until October 1th, I'll be working on a combination of the following:
- My part-time job
- smokescreen (Yes, I know this is the one you lot're all really intersted in
)
- Cleaning Aqua-Soft up, and hurting people who make a mess
- Preparing for my PhD
Of those, smokescreen and cleaning A-S are probably going to be the two I spend most time on.
I think that covers everything...
Oh, and thanks for all your support and patience, everyone - it means a lot to me. 
You are getting a PhD eh?
Have you finished all your research and are now going to present your paper (or whatever you did) or have you yet to begin? Good luck either way, what a huge pile of work it is...my dad has an MD (masters degree, not medical) and a PhD plus a Bachelors. It took him 10 years!
I'm just finishing my BSc, and hoping to start my PhD in early October, and it'll take roughly three years from then... I'm hoping smokescreen v1 will be finished before my PhD thesis is 
Much as we'd love Smokescreen, don't sacrifice your degree for us, okay?
I'd be happy to contribute as well (though I'd only heard about this project recently)
I have major experience in VB, and Javascript (because that's all I've needed thus far), but I can pick anything up pretty quick (languages ARE pretty much all the same after all...) and I know bits of C++, C#, etc.
I can do a bit of Photoshopping, too...

i'm in the middle of something right now and my weekly schedule isn't set (because i'm adding stuff to it and i dont know how that'll end up). i should have a notion of it by the end of this coming week. i'll post something concrete then.
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings, 6.30pm - 10pm GMT (probably most times over the weekend)
Thursday 20th from about 18:00 CET, Friday 21st 24/24.
Next week - don't know,
perhaps even 24 hrs/day 7 days/week.
Monday: 6am-8am GMT
Tuesday: 6am-8am GMT
Wednesday: 6am-8am GMT
Thursday: 6pm- 12am GMT, 3am- 7am GMT
Friday: 4am-7am GMT
Saturday and Sunday: Not available

Oh boy oh boy, sounds like someone's finished with his exams.... Exciting stuff for those of us lying in wait.. (err wait, that sounds like we're some sort of predator). Anyway, feel free to delete this post, but just letting you know that seeing all your names in the same place, working on the same project makes most of this forum want to go into ecstatic convulsions.

As such, when are people available next week?
I'd like, if possible, to do a 2(ish) hour meeting, so that we can get some idea of where we're going to be going with this, and so on...
I'd also like to start doing more regular meetings as time goes on...
The times are the same for me, I'll try and get to the meeting that you guys decide on since my free time atm is flexible, whereas others have jobs to work around.
Ok, as Stivie already know: for me the whole next week from about 18:30 to 20:30 CET, excluiding saturday and sunday.

I was waiting so long for GodPunk to let me know when he's available that I simply forgot to push people to think about it.
I'm going to try to finish some projects over this weekend, and see if I can't get smokescreen on it's feet over the next few weeks...
If need be I can provide hosting for things plus a relibale method of back up for source code and binaries via Magnetic Tapes. I have a pack of 5, 5GB tapes for a taravan drive.
So... PM me if you need me to whip them out.
I really hope you keep this going Stevie. It promises to do just about everything I've ever dreamed of my system being capable of.

There's been lots of interest shown, in general, but the problem is that all of the key members of the project are incredibly busy at the moment.
Guys - can I propose another attempt at "meeting"?
Somewhen between tomorrow and one week from Sunday would be ideal.
Post your times again, please, and I'm seriously going to get this whole thing going now.
