I HAVE A PROBLEM TOO!!
Why is it that when I play a new track (or the next track loads) in winamp and I have CDCoversBOX.ini loaded, a second samurize client automatically opens (for some reason) and loads an open cd case (like the one pictured in CDCoversBOXopen.ini)?
I have to close the second samurize client that automatically loads CDCoversBOXopen.ini everytime the next track is played. Its annoying!!!
Anyone else have this problem?
for me, when i am using the Box skin, and click on the left, i get an access violation error.. and if i switch manually to the open.ini script, and click on it, it opens a new instance of samurize w/ the open.ini running lol i'm using version 1.31 of samurize.
Is there any way to get the serial number in the dat files according to the album name,like B0001Z53AQ?
It doesn't support the Chinese search,so i wanna directly use [album].png [album].dat to show the cover by handmade.
The "B0001Z53AQ" seems like the KEY .
Btw,direcly putting the image file in the folder doesn't work out,too.

mmh it works very well except one thing when i xpand the cd cover case it only shows the track time but not the title. can anybody help ?

A note regarding problems some of you having - they are plugin related - I can't do anything about it cause I didn't created plugin . Sorry
My best advice would be to search on Samurize boards and see if they can help you.
(Also make SURE that you are running CDCovers instance .90% of problems happend when you are running wrong instance name.)

When I right click on the system tray icon and select certain instance of cd covers it immediately opens two instance of whatever it is that I have selected. But this is only true for a couple of the .ini's not all of them by any means.

I've just heard from Nem and this is what you should do :
First REDOWNLOAD config from my page !
IMPORTANT:

Since Samurize v1.55 instance names are case sensitive
so instance name has to be exactly like it says : cdcovers
(all small captions).Also now there is instance manager
avaliable in your samurize folder (InstanceManager.exe )
I strongly suggest you use that app to create and
manipulate instances.
Run instance manager and delete cdcovers instance (if you have one) and then create new instance 'cdcovers' (all small captions).Load config in that instance and it should work fine...

Thanks CRNI..........now it makes perfect sense! It's the case sensitive mistake......I wondered about that at first glance but never stopped to think twice about it. Too excited to get the new CD Covers installed........

Hi crni, since I updated to your latest version from CDCovers I'm having a problem, with every new track that starts playing the CDCovers is expanding but taking this instance of samurize to the foreground, for example lets say I'm writing something in Forefox when a track change I loose focus on it and the CDCovers become active, I need to manually activate Firefox again to get it focus back .

Right click on tray icon and just pin config to the desktop.
Hi crni ! sorry for boring you again but when I select the "Ping To Desktop" Option then I can't see the CDCovers instance anymore on the desktop the only thing that remains is the tray icon of the instance. Thanks for your help.

I want to run CDcover and Guipod player at the same time.
How can I?
CDcover and Guipod player both has several configs their own.
So I mean how can I merge two instances?

it will be easier to run them as two instances. in fact i could be wrong but since they both use scripts that depend on instance name you wont actually be able to merge them and still have them working properly.
use the instances manager in samurize to make two instances for them. any problems im sure someone will have asked the same thing in the samurize forums

And dear crni,
My cd cover works well with winamp .(except text)
But with foobar, I have two problems.
One is whenever play foobar with 'CDCoversSynergyL.ini', it shows always 'CDCoversSynergyLongL', and wont change to others.
If I run foobar with 'CDCoversSynergyL' again manualy, it shows correctly but
there's no album cover. ( Of course I put the 'folder.png file to now playing directory.)
The other is:
I'm korean. I'm using korean langusge winxp.
But when I run CDCover, elglish title is shown correctly, but korean language song titles are all crashed.
When I run Guipod Player it shows korean correctly.
What's wrong?
When the next song is being played another cd cover will pop up.. and i have to close it through the systray..Can this be solved ? Help anyone ? Thanks in advance..

you have a problem with the instance name. If you check both, you'll find that they have different names.
Ya..they are different. So how am i gonna go about solving this ?
