Need help also, as Scorpion
After reinstalling my system, subfolders just don't appear in the list of configs. Although i installed everything as usual. If i drag a single config in 'config' folder - it's working, but not subfolders. Please help!

however, when i go to change the volume (clicked the + sign), it pop up a notepad windows (volup.vbs)

@ geoff1010:associate all .vbs file with Microsoft windows baser script host(right click on .vbs file,open with,choose programs....)

The problem you're having is that the vbs files are currently associated with notepad instead of wscript.exe. THere a re two things you can do:
1) edit the config file (ini file) in samurize config editor and add the following text to link location of the plus and minus so that it reads:
'wscript.exe' ... [followed by what's already in the link meter]
2) find any vbs file (there should be one somewhere in your \samurize\scripts\... ) right click > Properties. Change the 'Open with' to Wscript.exe (located somewhere in your windows\system32\ folder).

there's no solution to my problem of not having sub-folders show up in the selection of configs? i'll try updating to 1.30 and see if it helps.
btw, when i had konfabulator milk scripts installed sub-folders worked ok, so i really don't know what the issue is here. :/
edit: still no-go with 1.30, so it must be something with my setup. is there supposed to be any file telling samurize to look for configs in subfolders, or is it automatic?
skorpion do you have at least one folder displayed in the list?
if you have one then copy it and replace config in this new folder by the configs from a folder that don't be displayedby samurize(and rename it).
i don't know why but i had the same problems,only 2 folder was displayed so i copy these folders and remplace the configs and then it appears 
weird but it worked for me
Scorpion I feel You Bro' I dont get my folders to show, I got advice to uninstalled,
Samurize 1.25 even from the registry and then load it again I'll try and then let you know if it works............. I just have to find the H_KEY NAME OF Samurize in my Registry and then I let you know try see what happends
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Serious Samurize
Thanks Tadis I have done everything, like you told me earlies when you answer my PM, I have erase it from my registry, uninstalled, and reinstalled everything again, every configuration works, except the one that requires to load from subfolders, I even posted a question at Samurize but no luck, no subfolders ini for me ........................ :rant:
@Tadis: No plugin's were running, although now i'm running a weather one.
@derek: Thanks man, your suggestion worked! I created a dir in the config folder called "temp" and copied sample.ini there, and it showed up, so then i copied all the CDCovers ini's into that folder and renamed it to "CDCovers", deleting the original first of course.
who can say why this happened, but i'm extra happy now! thanks everyone!
Well i'll try that method, I also tried to explain the problem to NeM in the Samurize 1.30 thread, let's see what he can see about this.
edit: thx @derek your solution worked perfectly all my folders are now "visible".
For some reason this is deciding to apply the Timo Maas - Loud cover to loads of songs. I have that album, and it found the cover fine, but now it applys it to everything! But strangely its doing things like, I have Coldplay - Clocks (gabriel and Dresden Remix) which it finds the Coldplay - Clocks single cover for, but it puts Loud on for the original Clocks single 
what do you do when you have two albums fo the same title? how do you set up two diffrent images?
also is there any plan to have this ever just check for a folder.jpg file in the tracks directory? or even check the mp3 file itself to see if it has an image embeded in it.

the script display the folder.png of each folder that containd the song.
to display a specific cover for a song put a .png with the exact name of the song in you samurize/covers folder.
for exemple:
for:sting - fragile.mp3 you must make a:sting - fragile.png

is there a photoshop action that i can run that would check all my folders, find the folder.jpg file, and then save a folder.png file in that same folder?
i went back and added a folder.png file to the folder that the mp3 is in, but it's still not showing up. what am i missing?
the name of the png must be folder.png and it works.
verify in your samurize/covers folder if there are not multiple covers for the album and erase them.
to convert all .jpg to .png use infranview or acdsee wth the option batch/conversion.
I found out what is happening - its saving a random cd cover as 'music.png' and applying that to random tracks. I deleted the Timo Maas one, and it d/loaded some strange spoken word CD instead

there was a little bug for the subfolders in samurize, I've posted a queations over at samurize and got an answer and a client to fix the problem to boot, I have ask
Nem for permission to post the link, so everybody having problems with subfolders, can solve them.... or all off you can go over to Samurize help desk and find the thread......It's called having problems getting subfolders to work.................... you can find the link there to get the client....if I get permission I'll post the link...
