List what you like and don't like about the client you're using, what OS you use, and which ones you tried and didn't like.
Hopefully one choice will emerge as the clear favorite and we can all recommend it to new BT users. ![]()

Id have to that say ABC is the best, I like it because it's clean and organized, plus it the fastest client I have used. I highly recommend it.
Bitorrent sucks, soooo slow. I use IRC.
ABC is definitely the best!
I dont remember the name... I dont use bittorrent...
Azuerus seriously slows your computer down, the java thingi that comes with it does, but the speeds are relativley high, and all your torent links are organized and everything. Its my favorite. ![]()
i only ever bt'ed one thing and i used abc. i have hardly any clue about it, though.
um, isnt this topic supporting WAREZ?
File sharing is not a crime copywright infringment is file sharing is what the internet was originally designed for
Duckie, there are a lot of legitimate uses of bittorrent.
Linux programs get released through it often.
btw... no filesharing actually isn't a crime, not in the UK at least.

Not at all.
Lots of very large, public companies use BitTorrent for distribution.
Fedora Core, for example.
And don't forget about game demos. Sometimes BT downloads rival the speed of FilePlanet, and you don't have to spend hours waiting in line.
Thanks to everyone for the input. ![]()
I'm using the official one, because I haven't tried many of them... Shad0w's client was pretty weak. And the Experimental one was usually slow...
@ Duckie: I use BT to download Fansubs from series that come out in my native country. I wouldn't be able to live without my Naruto! ^^

Naruto!!! That's my favourite Manga and Animé series!! Gaara rocks!! [/moment]
I rarely use BitTorrent because it's hell on 56k. I also never use it at Sis' house (300-700kbps speeds), because it can never seem to clock over 8kbps.. Meh.
I personally think BitTorrent would be a good way to distribute apps/art developed around the community.
If the apps were 300mb+. yes, but since they are small... Its fine with just reliable webspace
And to whoever said BitTorrent was slow... I get 2 mb/s, thats really not that slow...
(Shareaza is fastest for me, but I prefer shad0w's anyway)

Sabaku no Gaara is SO getting his a** kicked by Uchiha Sasuke and/or Naruto's Kuchiyose no Jutsu! I mean, GAMA BUNTA!
And also, don't forget that our favourite strategist, Nara Shikamaru, and Aburame Shino (Who is just too cool) are going to help them... Mwahahaha, fear, Gaara... can you feel it?

Your sister has a T1/T3 line? *explodes out of sheer jelousy*
You should try to open up some ports at her place. That's probably why you are getting low speeds.
Where can i get a good bt client for osx?
the official client is the best I can think of for OSX
I agree. If you are not behind a LAN (Like I am.), and you are plugged straight to the modem/broadband, you can easily get the top speed of your connection. I used to have my iBook connected to a 256kb DSL line and I usually downloaded at 27kbps, using the Official Mac OS X Client. And it's compatible with Panther too.

Pah. They can't win, because Gaara is far too cool to lose to those lowly Nins!! (I need to get a faster connection and download all the episodes.. Or read new volumes..)
Mm, I'm not sure what connection.. I think she lies about how much she spends on it. I usually get my animé subs from AdultBouncer sites. They have some of the best and widest choice of fansubs available. :canadian:

Gaara might be cool, but he will get SO MUCH PAIN from Konoha's Nins that he will go running right back to Sand Village.
And watch the Anime, don't read the Volumes... The anime has great animation, great voices and superb music! ![]()

Hehe, I have to agree. I used to have access to an AdultBouncer account, long time ago. They do have fast servers and great content.
the official bit torrent client. used it mainly for fansubs (Scrapped princess).
Naruto? should check that out. Any other good fansubs ( of the darker variety?)
Uhm... Not that I've seen at least.
Naruto is pretty much all I watch nowdays. I could recommend you several other series, but they are a bit older. Not distributed on BitTorrent and/or have been licensed.
But we are sooo going offtopic.
