Question...
in your screenshots, it shows right aligned buttons, which tells me you're using an MSSTYLE as your theme. (blech!!!)
will the title bar be skinned like Address Book? or will it be dependant on the current WB/MSStyle theme?
It wouldn't look right if the taskbar was different from the rest of the window >.

exactly my point...that's my main reason for hating Firebird...there's no way to skin the title bar so it looks like a$$

If you use windowblinds 4.2 and a theme that has a toolbar background that matches it and use a firebird theme with no background image.
What i did for the screenshot above is just use the per application feature in windowblinds, and told it to use a certain theme for mozilla firebird.

I realize that, but I dont WANT to use a brushed theme just to browse the net. I prefer my 1x1 Panther theme.
of course ill be working on the brushed titlebar. I just havent gotten to that step yet. I wouldnt work on a program without one of those nifty title bar deals...

So Far I have been in the background Watching the project evolution and I think your doing a fantastic job. I am confident that what ever you come up with will be brilliant. Keep it up!
you can use any skin with firebird and it will work right. Just make sure the theme you are using has no background. lynchknot's safplnb works great for me. I haven't had a skin that didn't load right yet.
