Safari Skin For Mozilla?
Gey lynchnots themes for Firebird. If you are familar with Mozilla I am sure that you have heard of Firebird. It is a browser made by the same people. I do not know the technically differences but I used to use Mozilla and switching to Firebird is painless (and will probably be unnoticeable). So give Firebird a try and do a search for Lynchnots Firebird Themes.
Yes. Firebird is great I will try that skin. I know that someone made a Safari skin for Mozilla I just cannot remember where I saw the download. I should mention that I am using XP though.

The only thing is you need an older edition of Pheonix and not the latest version of Firebird, lynchnots Safari skins are probably the best but I dont think anyone has got it to work with the latest version yet.

Also worth noting - all the mods (save for the aforementioned skin problem) will work on the current Firebird builds. Only two days ago I did exactly that to my Firebird. As a replacement for the exact Safari skin by Lynchknot, I would recommend his "Experimental SAF" skin (near the top of his Firebird skins page). Personally, I always go for the icons and tabs skins, but your preferences may differ greatly.
He right they will all work I tried to do it with the latest version and came across some problems tho. I tried an older version of Pheonix and they all worked perfectly.

Like I said, that's what I did two days ago (except for the skin).
I may be wrong about which skin it was, but I know at least one of Lynchknot's skins works with Firebird 0.7 - I'm using it, after all...
I must admit, I did have a couple of issues:
- The "about" box image has changed size since MageGuru posted his
- The "go" button now has a hover state, which MageGuru's tutorial doesn't support
- The user agent string MageGuru provides is out of date
- I spent half my time looking for folders that I thought were other folders but were in fact different folders to the folders I thought were folders...
Maybe I should write an updated tutorial to replace (or rather, supercede) MageGuru's...
His is good, but it's a little out of date now, and you've got to use your own initiative and imagination to get it working.
I had the same problems I posted a replacement about picture its somewhere in the skin forum fits it perfectly.
Ill have to give that a try later thanks Stevie BM!

Be patient, ok? I've got exams this week, and they, I'm afraid, are more important than helping people skin Mozilla Firebird

This is the latest version of Firebird.
I used the Experimental SAF (Icons n Tabs) by Lynchknot
I had to edit it abit but i now got
All correct buttons except for the stop button
A square address windows with a rounded google window
A modified cut button to mimic the Mac movement dot at the end of the ad bar
Finally a working Safari for my PC (Y)

One final thing though does anyone know how to modify firebird so that the File Edit etc will show on my objectbar it would make it alot easier instead of using the compact menu.

like ur tutorial, did basicly the same, following mages one, but for firebird. it works fine
only one thing - changing the "google.gif" image in the searchplugins folder to a maginfiying glass looks more like safari ask me if you want me to send it
do you know where skins are installed to, i want to mod it a bit

@thefunky_monkey the themes are simply just the jar file copied to the following directory (assuming your running XP) open the jar files with WinRAR and import your modified files
"C:\Documents and Settings\user profile\Application Data\Phoenix\Profiles\default\?????????.slt\chrome\"
