Both puff and the new shortcut image can be changed. There is no "user friendly" way to do it (but i don`t know what`s so user unfriendy with dragging and renaming a file) So here is how it`s done. Find a poof u want to use instead of old one (u can find it here if u use search or @ wincustomize.com). Open OD`s folder and rename the existing poof (poof2 for example) Then name the new file poof.png (all poofs must be png). Restart the dock and voila. A new poof.

I'm useing This method.

But, OD can change a background and Indicator.

However Puff cannot be changed.

I want to change Puff similarly

Change the color of the clock hands to something neutral like black and gray so they'll fit better with different themes.

Use Mouse Activation: If your pointer leaves the Dock area and you haven't clicked an icon, return the focus to the previous window. Also, make sure the icons and titles always display on top of other windows when the Dock is the active app.

Handle the drawing of separators differently. Come on, you know they shouldn't have to be the same width as the icons.

Sorry if I wasn't clear enough.

Let's say you have the current version and you're working in a maximized window. You move the pointer to the activation area (to check the title of a download window to see its progress, for example). Since you're just looking at the titles, you don't click on anything. You then move the pointer back into the previous window, but the focus does not return. You have to click in the maximized window even though you never clicked on anything in the Dock.

MadMike: there are two non-always-on-top modes to suit your tastes...

Normal Z-Order which makes it act like a normal window and be brought tot he front when activated either by being clicked on or being activated by the mouse otherwise...

The "Always On Bottom" mode, of course, always sits on bottom and the way its mouse activation works is what you had in mind... it gets activated and comes to the front, but then goes back to the bottom like it should upon the mouse leaving. (Though, i'm noting that it doesn't give focus back like it should, that will be fixed for RC2 thanks)
