No, the classic vertical postbit looks good. 
It was just a suggestion 
or you could do a mix of the two. it would be an arch, you would have the name and the avatar on the left and the little infos just before the post (much like the signature is right now, but on top instead of on the bottom.)

Hell, if I would have to go through all that trouble and it would lose the feel of OS X, I would say "screw it, no Custom Title field"
Remember, this is Aqua-Soft, imitating OS X on Windows. OS X doesn't spread info every where like XP. It's organized and kept all in a row, or column.
I use join date and number of posts together to create a "user status." For example, if a user has 3 posts but they joined in December '03, I'd treat them as a lurker instead of a new member. Other than that, I guess it's not too crucial!-NC

it still could keep that OSX feeling if done right...I'll try doing a version myself on an SMF forum I run to explain myself better

Timan, initially that sounds like a great idea. You've done, I think a great job of picking mod's as it is. If you were to do that I'd be thinking your current mod's should be the ones to pick them. Just a thought.

Horrible idea. We are lucky to have the mods we have now. I can see Joe Blow Whachamacallit causeing havoc in the ranks.
If it was implemented, you'd have to watch out for petty people ruining the chances of people who would otherwise have high ratings. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about...
