Here are the white BG images for the wrapper, you still need to go in the css and change the background color for those bits.
Aqua-Soft v2 for vBulletin 3.5 Skin Released
Thanks!!!!!
I am going to do the registration bit tonight for IPB, I highly doubt I can make it like vBulletins though. IPB is just so damn limiting on what you can do with its templates without modifying files. The bug you just mentioned, is this in Firefox? and if so, does it vanish when you resize the window?
Yes and... yes. That's odd though, but thanks for your answer. ![]()
Thats a browser problem, seems to be the only one that does it. So its something thats out of my hands.
It's not a big issue, though.
Well some bad news...
For me at least, seems I'll end up re-doing the skin, mostly go through every template and redo the html/copy over from the older skin. They've added a bunch of small things all over the place. Last night I went through doing the changes they posted in their release threads, and found out that it broke some things. So this might mean a longer delay, might not. Some things might change some might not. Going to require alot of feedback on bits I might miss when it does get released.
IPB status, its about 70% done now. Should be out next month, or this month if I can finish vb's quick.
Are you talking about for vB 3.6? Sorry you have to go through that all again.
On another subject, I'm having some problems with MS IE loading the skin. I haven't looked at why yet, but Firefox has no problems at all.
Have others had problems with IE? Or is that unusual.
Shouldn't be any issues with IE, seeing alot of our users use it. They would have reported it (at least I hope). What exactly is happening?
I'm having the images load slowly. Other images on the page load fast, but all of the skin images are super slow to load in IE only. I tried this website in IE and it was very fast. So, it could be something on my site. I have google analytics on the pages and that could be it. Since IE loads from the bottom up and the Analytics code is on the bottom, if there is any delay on Google's end it could be holding up the whole page.
I'll check it.
Oh the URL of the site is www.gibson-talk.com
Could also be a cache issue, try doing control + f5 on your site, or empty your ie cache see if that fixes anything.
Hey Timan, I've been working on an IPB skin recently. Do you have your IPB skin up on a dev board where I can see it? I want to take a look.
Send me a message on msn, I really don't wanna post the link publicly.
Well, I'm still up from yesterday and finishing up on the vBulletin 3.6 skin. Still a few bits left, but everything has be re-done and should be out by the time "RC2" comes out. That way we can find bugs and get em fixed before it goes final.

Yep, both the current version you guys have (will) work on it, and the new one I'm rebuilding works great.
Will be done soon, some bits have changed, I moved a few things around and found a crapload of stuff I over looked last time.
Also I am gonna send a mass mail out with people that have donated and get them to register here, so I can just make a new forum for people who donated and they can download updates/extra junk without the need of me sending out 50 emails each item I update it.

Great!!!!!!!!
I just installed the current release version of this theme (which is beautiful, by the way) and I was wondering: how do I move the poster's name / avatar / info to float left of the post like it is here instead of on top like it is now?
Also, is there a fast way to add the skin chooser at the bottom right hand corner to switch between the blue and grey versions?
Thanks!
To get the postbit to look like it does on aqua-soft. Do the following.
Admincp -> vBulletin Options -> Style & Language Settings -> Use Legacy (Vertical)...

Dear Timan,
first of all compliments for your VBulletin Aqua Skin, which I consider the only well-made skin that could be finded in the net.
I'm working on some modifications to customize the skin, but I came up against a problem which I have not the skill to solve:
I can't remake well the shadows of the main table according to my background (i.d. the files named "shad_right.gif", "shad_bot_right.gif", etc...).
Could you send me a version of that shadows with trasparent background? I'd be very grateful.
Regards,
Giovanni
so Tim, any ETA when u gonna release the skin for vb3.6 ?
Yep, once final comes out. I'm almost done with it, very few templates left. Mostly posting screens, and stuff moderators see.
