Thanks to them as well and the one who brought the resources , any way around to smooth the animation when you open the drawer ? as smooth as when you move it in the desktop

Tried that (actually x and y were already zero - width and height were 128, so I set them to zero), exited and restarted Avedesk...still bounces down from the top of the screen. I don't see this as being a global settings issue since I have other widgets at the top of the screen with no problem.

It's almost like it sees the top of the screen as "protected" or something. I can drag the widget so half of it is off the screen to the left or right edge and I can put it on the bottom of the screen so half of it is below the edge of the screen and it sits there. Only when I try to drag it to the top does it spring back down. Thanks for trying though.

I figured out it's doing that because the weather icons are so big. It won't allow for them to be overlapped by the taskbar, even if it is just whitespace.

Makes sense since I do have my taskbar at the top of the screen. It's still a bug for my setup...I have dual monitors and the taskbar is only at the top of monitor one (it doesn't stretch across both monitors)...but the weather widget won't go to the top of either monitor. So it "thinks" the taskbar is across the top of both monitors even though it isn't.

How can we move the text over, drawer image up a little, etc, so it matches the format of the apple widget completely?

i got a kinda slow computer so the drawer animation is very sloooow ..is there a way of removing the animation and just making the "drawer" to "popup" instead

Judge, I'm using your version. Everything was working fine, until I restarted my computer. Now it looks like this. I've tried closing the widget and opening it again, but it still looks messed up. Do you know what's the problem?

Compare the size of your config file (the .ini file) to the one in the install package...looks like when you restarted, it didn't get saved properly and is corrupted. A reinstall of the widget will be necessary unless you had a backup copy of the .ini file.

I had a problem this morning too, it got corrupted by itself who know how but reinstalling it did the trick

When you close Avedesk it needs quite sometime to write back to the config file(save theme on closing Avedesk).

It seems that when you power down your computer Avedesk has not enough time to write back to the ini-file ->ini gets screwed up. As a precaution I close Avedesk before I shut down the Computer, since then it seems to be fine. Not the perfect solution, but at least it works. And like hallf said:

you really should have a backup of your ini-files

and is there any way to toggle the transparancy of the widget? it's kind of hard to see on more of the lighter desktops

I have installed it, and it works, but I cant see the background image, nor close/open the drawer, any ideas why??
