Yea. Its weird. at first i was having the problem, then just in messing around with the settings, etc. i was moving it and it didnt do it anymore. then i reinstalled it today, and am getting the same problem

go to desklet control panel>settings>globalsettinngs>moving tab and set the 4 variables to 0.

Tried that (actually x and y were already zero - width and height were 128, so I set them to zero), exited and restarted Avedesk...still bounces down from the top of the screen. I don't see this as being a global settings issue since I have other widgets at the top of the screen with no problem.
It's almost like it sees the top of the screen as "protected" or something. I can drag the widget so half of it is off the screen to the left or right edge and I can put it on the bottom of the screen so half of it is below the edge of the screen and it sits there. Only when I try to drag it to the top does it spring back down. Thanks for trying though.

Here is something little from me guys.....
I tried and made a little widget using Hyrals The Weather SysStats config as base and MWSF icons provided by JoJo.... there is no drawer or sumthing, since I made this one for my personal use and I always felt that for normal user today's weather is more than enough.. I mean I personally never bothered opening drawer and pay attention to next few day's forecast.
Anyways, this is a Mini version as title suggests, using actual Tiger Screenshot as ref, made completely in Photoshop (except the icons, which I already mentioned JoJo provided somewhere in threads).
It can be used as base for creating something more over it... (Hyral... you listenin'??)
I've also included Photoshop PSD file, just so if you want to modify the graphics.
whatever.. just let me know...

this D@mn thing....worked fine for a week, now all of a sudden the "drawer" is gone...if I click where it's supposed to be I see a little bit of text slide down...it's like the drawer's coordinates got screwed up and it's all hidden behind the main window. I've restarted Avedesk and removed and re-added the widget several times, even rebooted with no joy....any ideas anyone?
edit: n/m...somehow unknown to me I was comparing the config.ini file and all of a sudden it was only half as big as the original...and I haven't edited the config file, so where the missing info went...I haven't a clue. Anyway, restored the original and it's working again.
I had the same problem. The only thing that worked was replacing the existing(screwed up) ini-file with the ini-file from the original download and modifying it once again. Since then I have a backup-folder of all "working" sysstats-ini-files to replace any screwed-up ones.

Now I see! Makes perfect sense. Sometimes my Avedesk crashes or becomes unresponsive and so I have to kill it via the taskmanager.I`ll try to avoid that in the future.Thanks for the explanation, judge

Just wondering if anyone had tried to make this widget flip round like it does on tiger to change the location, it must be kind of do-able as the cd cover for avetunes has this animation?? :-S
