i have the bug were its cut off at the bottom, and im running at resolution 1280 by 1024 at 32 bit. and im using the geforce fx 5600 aka "real card".

i would love to give this a try, but it just dosn't seem to work right :/

#210763

Its probably a sys files problem. Oh well!

Edit:

I updated my mirror link for the zip, finally. I have been busy with school and a screwed up knee.

Get it here:

EDIT

Ok, now I am on a mission to get this working! I just discovered it outputs data in ics and ical files, perfect for my ipod!!! And with ipod agent, I can autosync a folder so I just click a button and it will sync the contacts, weather, movie times and whatever else I want

I will try reinstalling flyakites system files or upgrading to the latest one.

#210765

Iam using flakites system files also 1280 x 1074 32 bit also a geforce card, and I got the bottom cut off also.

#210766

There you go people, that's probably it. If anyone feels like it (although I seriously doubt that they do) you could try uninstalling the mod and using Calendar and seeing if it works, 'cause if it does, there's your answer. I mean, I don't use the system files, so I can't try it out :S But I'll see what can be done :)

On another note, version 1.3 is already on the works, it will address the bug described by daclothe and adds playing sounds for alarms, all-day events, special events (holidays) and hopefully, if all goes well, vcs support.

Well, another theory bites the dust. I have no idea what it could be, and as I don't get the bug myself my options are very limited till someone finds out what causes it. Maybe it's the sp. Are all the guys getting the bug using sp2?

#210809

Awesome work on the iCal, but I'm having the same problem with the buttons. I am also using flyakite's mod, and I'm using SP1. I really hope you can figure this out. You've shown that you have the desire to get this out and you do a good job pleasing everybody. Thanks for all the hard work and fast updates.

I hope I can figure it out too, but as I said, it's kind of hard. I can't replicate the bug myself nor anyone who has experienced it can tell me what's causing it. I'm kinda driving in the dark here >.<

#210833

It's working perfect for me, just felt that I had to say it!

#210979

i'm using SP2, and i don't get that bug... scratch that theory

#210992

hehe, you got that right, the problem is he doesn't have a .net compiler, but I'll ask him for a hand anyways. Thunks.

#211033

what's with the catcher in the rye email address? :D

#211096

I'm using xp home, and it is working without any problem at all! ;)

#211243

Well god damn! I have uninstalled flyakite, installed the newest net frame work AND sp2 (which took a damn long time) and still no solution!

This is lame...I give up.

#211248

Ooh...sorry to hear that Juno.

@holden- I'll try not to abuse the privilege :D .

Some suggestions (don't feel compelled to do these):

1) Allow maximizing

2) Make the calendar colors a little more Aqua

3) Find some screenshots of the real iCal and see if you can make yours mimic even closer

4) Change the "Accept" and "Decline" to "Ok" and "Cancel," or whatever the Mac equivalent it.

Thanks!

P.S: I'm clueless too on the window bug. Sorry :(:D

#211253

He said he needs graphic artists to help him out. This ****ing program man, why wont it work???!!!

#211256

@all: sorry guys, I'm really sad that this freaking bug is still there, and even more so, that some members have gone through awful lengths to try and remove it to no avail. I truly apologize, but I have no idea where this bug is or what's causing it, and trust me, I'm searching, I'll keep doing it, but I suggest all of you experiencing it don't change anything on your system to avoid frustration which I don't wanna be responsible for.

@juno: sorry man, i didn't mean your system to get all buggered and for you to get irritated :(

#211257

Bug with adding calenders??

it seems when i add calenders it doesn't goto to the colors i set it to..

so even if i set it to green it comes out as blue..

but this problem is off and on.. sometime the proper color shows sometimes it doesn't..

even after i restart it the proper color doesn't show..

using winxp sp1
