This is amazing, absolutely no doubt.
However, my one question is this...
When I do a search for "CNN" for example, and "CNN" comes up as the first site...when I click on it the google search page opens and not "CNN" itself...can this be corrected, otherwise it seems redundant.

Every time I think thats it, he can't surprise me with another great widget you surprise me again. It's already hard to imagine what will be the next widget...
But, is this possible to make this widget not always on top, as it overlaps some things like install programs, and even sometime games, and that can be a mess. Hope it's possible to work around....

How do you get it to not cover up the clock? Is there a program you can download so you can mess with the clocks pos.?
Just set the desklet to "Always on top" in desklet properties.
Thats the reason it covers the clock....

ah, btw, could someone explain how to move the clock to the left? u know, not all of us have the grogs to edit visual-styles.

I had that problem too, configure your firewall to let avedesk connect to the internet.

I don't run a firewall in that sense, it's built in to my router. It worked when I installed the first relase, it was only the current latest one that stopped working.

I still think my magnifying glass looks funny.. if anyone can come up with a better version, feel free to post it.
By the way, does anyone know why clicking on the first search result takes you to the Google page, but clicking on any other result takes you to that result's webpage?

This looks awesome. For some reason though its not showing up in my add desklet dialog... I unzipped to my avedesk folder so searchbar.dll is in the root folder and the images folder is a first level subdirectory. Any ideas why its not showing up?

Absolutely great work - still have a problem with it, though. When I set the desklet to "always on top", the search icon is always visible, even when I am running a full-screen application (image slideshow, video etc.). Is there any way to solve this?

@d.crowley: I think that happens with everyone. But unless I'm wong, it's the only way to keep it on top of ObjectBar/your taskbar.
