[help] Buying An Ipod
Just an opinion here, but you'd probably be better off taking it all out of the box, packing it well and having it labeled a "used" ipod when it's being sent to you, otherwise you might have to pay taxes for importing *new* electronics...
I know you'd miss out on the beautiful experience of opening up the ipod's box but taxes are a beeotch.

I plan on purchasing it tonight with my CC. I am only checking the final price what it would be cause i have to pay 16% of Tax + 10% of handling + 10 usd of i dunno what in the colombian customs, that is 88 bucks more.
The shipping is actually cheaper than i expected, it is only 46usd. The only thing is i have to prepay the shippment as soon as i order the iPod as it takes 2 days for them to go to your doorstep and pick it up from you and then 3-4 days for them to get it to me here.
As long as the apple people ship it in the 2 buss days they claim they do, everything will be fine and right on time...
Ill check my options see if it is a waste of money or not (its like 150 bucks more just to send the bastard) and ill let you know by the end of hte day or by tomorrow early morning.

the part about prepaying the shipping, do they have to come pick it up from me, or is it possible for me to bring it to them? just to save you some $, i don't know if it costs more for UPS or whomever we're using to come pick it from me, when all of these services are right up the street from me, i have no problem dropping it off myself.
if they do have to pick it up, depending on the day, i'll just give you my work address. that's probably where i'll have you ship the ipod to also, just so they don't try to deliver it to my house and have me not there to sign for it....
Well, the thing is that they cant give me prices form here and the site is kind unaccurate as you saw in the price discrepancy.
So i guess its ok, i dont think i will get a significanlty better price by you sending it, this way, i save you the hassle cause youll be doing enough for me, man.

I think the warranty works but you'd have to send it to the us to get it fixed 
(Where is globalization when you need it?)
As for the european plug, you can just plug an adapter and it will work as it is 50-60hrz and 110-220 volt
