with the combination of Ave's skinning engine, and the extreme artistic talent here, how can they not be?

Print function
Search Function
Quick save Function (instead of having to go to save and saving the txt file as the same name, just allow Ctrl + S. Like in Word, or Notepad)
A right click menu that lets you change the font, font style, font size, and other things
Bug (or maybe it was done on purpose):
When skinning, you have to skin two areas- the menu bar, and then the area near the title bar. Basically, you can have one skin for the menu bar, and a different one for the title bar. Try it and see.
If I think of other ideas, I'll post them.

its supposed to be like that... avepreview is that way too
Oh. I only have one skin for AvePreview, so I never noticed. Usually, the default is good enough for me.

Yeah AndreasV. At the risk of getting the standard 'It's done when it's done' and 'Good things take time. Great things take a great deal of it' responses, I have to ask too. What's the scoop with AveDesk? Were you able to get back on track after losing your code?

Sorry, I didn't realize I was ripping your text.
Now here's your anwers:
I got the code back after losing it - I am doing a 2-weekly back-up on CD, so I recovered it from there. Ofcourse needed to do the 2-weeks-of-work again.
I have been thru a lot of personal sh!t lately and was (and still am) working my ass off. AveDesk 1.1 is a big project and I am doing it all for free, mostly during night times when I can't sleep. I have some people who are helping and supporting me on the none-programming part and their voice also counts for the "go-and-release".
I think it's fair enough if I tell you that 1.1 is finished, but needs a little more polishing. Work out the tiny little bugs that are very very irritating, change texts, sliders and other UI-parts.
Soon, that's all I will (and can) say.
