As you guys might know IPB 2.0 will be out in a few weeks, and of course we are going to jump right on to it. But first we need your guy's input on what you would like to see new and what you want changed in it.
So please post your ideas, mocksup, anything. 
Wizard's search button/field idea, or something thereabout, should be implemented, if possible.
An "ignore Timmie's inane drivel" button would be nice... 
Seriously, I second the search request, and maybe it should default to the current forum (or have a dropdown like in iTunes - I might be able to help with that)...
Other than that, I dunno...
a more prominent link to 'view new' on the front page...

I like the Search thing, too. Whoever thought of that should be automatically promoted to Moderator .
Good idea, I'll see how to implement that. Programming it's easy. Web-Programming, it's harder.(or have a dropdown like in iTunes - I might be able to help with that)...

I Think we should get some skinners to make a new ibp 2.0 skin for aqua-soft, im using cappucino right now and its cool but i have some ideas for a new skin for the boards
I might even make 1 myself if i figure out how :canadian:

I'll be happy to try making a skin for IPB 2 when it comes out. I fancy a brushed skin.
Not sure about the brushed skin... may make it feel a little too much like AquaXP of old... lol...
1. The new AS logo should replace the current one.
2. Why not make desktops and screenies etc a separate forum... Cause then you can set a separate skin for it cant you? Might be nice to set up the postbit kinda different seeing as how it's more like a gallery of images than a normal topic? /shrug
3. Add an "ignore posts from user" feature. I'm sure I have seen this done somewhere before... You can click a button and you have an ignore list... Posts from people on that ignore list are hidden from you. Useful if there are people who particularly get under your skin etc... Might create problems though.
4. Add an attatchments "box" at the bottom of posts for attatchments which dont have thumnails for preview (ie not images)... That groups them all in a nice little section all of their own. Not sure how useful it would be here, but saw it ona forum i used to go to and thought it was nice lol

when we update, all user ranks and all well be set to the defual ones, same goes for smilies, we might add a few smilies back some some are so out of it its not funny. like :timmie:
As for those themes, maybe 1 or two of em, half of those don't really have good colors for a forum. Milk would be so much brighter than the panther theme right now we'd go blind and be using luna :|
