@ Tadis... I'm not sure why this is happening but whenever I click on the weather widget to change location, the input window immediately closes.
Example when I type Manila in the inputbox... after a few seconds it closes.
I tried typing it faster then the next dialog box appears then it immediately shuts down. With a bit of frusration I try typing Manila still faster then I click on ok... copy pastes the code RPXX0017 from the clipboard then clicks on ok... the mission impossible happens... the last dialog box blinks and I can hardly read the text... then something suddenly becomes so crystal clear... I tried opening the Change Location.vbs to copy the text for the input message for the last dialog box to be placed in this post to get the exact text message. Funny, I saw the text "wscript.shell" then pressed 'windows button + R' and typed wscript and hits ok. This little small window then opened and everything suddenly became so obvious, the 'Stop script after specified number of seconds' was checked and with 3 seconds in the ticker textbox! I unchecked it and then the problem stated above was solved.
Now why am I posting? Well hope this helps those who have the same problem.

I'm afraid I have no idea why that would happen to your amended configs.
does the album cover widget work with samurize 1.31? or do we need to wait for the update?

Ive solved the problem 
, when you configure the weather , the script creates in the temp folder 2 files , and the problem was those files, ive deleted them and voila , working again like a charm
I already tried the trick about independent skins for the various widgets, and its working perfectly too.
Your Milk 0.2 is working without probs now

hey Tadis, I really like your work, but I have problem with my temeprature display, it suppose display C, but with square instead.
ps: My OS is windows XP+sp1a
and I've tried reinstall samurize 1.31 and reinstall your suit. but it still does the same, but the rest of scripts work perfectly though...
please help me out. I have no idea what's going on!

I think that appears to be a font issue?!
I know that there are different versions of Lucida Grande (as well as LucidaGrande without the space) about, so maybe you need to find the right one?
I had similar problems with a version that only displayed as bold and not regular, I dealt with it by unintalling the font through bitstream font navigator (comes packaged with coreldraw) and then reinstalling a different version.

as far as i know, initially the album art doesnt appear when u start it. it will appear later when it can get the album art online somewhere according to the song playing.
heho....having some problems with this...
ehm running installation.vbs does work....everything is created correctly...but the shortcuts are starting sam, but nothing is shown up, it seems like sam starts an empty instance ??
and second problem is....there are some cfg. in the folders 1 and 2 but they aren't
displayed when i rightklick the sam-icon in tray???
sam 1.25 is installed and the v1 of this suite runns perfectly....
while installing the new suite i closed everything dealing with sam as you sugested tadis...
but what to do??
killa... try and do a clean install of samurize. use version 1.30 instead of 1.31. this widget works excellently on v1.30. there has been lotsa complaints on v1.31. after all the only changes between both version is the confirmation box upon saving config file and some adjustment on the AMPI files.
wait for tropics to fix the AMPI bugs for v1.31 on the next sam release. im using v1.30 and it works smoothly without any glitch. im on xp pro sp1. big up to Tadis. :rock:

The album art widget uses Tropic's AMPI plugin, it works (to the best of my understanding by:
1) Checking the folder of the current playing file for images and using them as the album art (v1.25 checks for jpgs and bmps as well i think)
2) If no picture file is found it attempts to find a corresponding cover on amazon.com using the title/artist info in the mp3 tag.
I know there have been some issues with Sam v1.31 and the new AMPI plugin, the best option is probably to check the samurize forums regularly for updated info.

I think the problem is that you need to upgrade to v1.30, the reason being that I had to change the arguments in the shortcuts and similarly the scripts so as to work with Sam v1.30 and above.
Basically, following v1.30 the command line arguments have changed from:
\client.exe "instancename"
to
\client.exe i="instancename"
I guess it wasn't the best time to release a widget? 
can't find any mirror of 1.30, all mirrors have 1.31

Yeap, its a problem of mine, i have a lot of songs and albuns without details , with the musics and albuns with all th info the cover appears correctly
There is a easy way to had the right info to the songs and albuns ? or its needed that info be inserted by hand ?

I figure out how the art album works, but i still have a prob, some covers still dont appear even with the info in the mp3 tag and in the amazon site , and other without info he can get the cover from the amazon site, i want to know if this is a AMPI problem ?

same problem here at times i cant get the album cover straight from the amazon site. it could lead to improper tagging also. u can have the album cover to be displayed offline by having the cover in the same folder as the mp3 that u're playing. the album cover must be rename to folder.png or folder.jpg (currently i use png format to display my cover).

These are definitely issues with the AMPI plugin. My album art widget has no scripting in its operation, therefore if you're having problems with album art I'd suggest posting it on the Samurize forums (they're quite approachable people you know ).

I have no idea what's wrong, but with the weather widget, i get "invalid parameter" showing up all over the widget itself when I enter my actual location (Princeton, NJ). When I enter any other location, it works fine - I get temperature, graphics, the whole deal. I've attached an image of what I see...

No problem with weather.com. I'm in Princeton too, and everything has been displaying fine all night. You did put the correct code in, I assume?
You can move the shortcuts anywhere, but you *need* to use the shortcuts to launch the application/widget because Tadis' scripts only work with the name specified in the shortcut. If you put them in your startup folder, they ought to still work, since the startup folder is merely a collection of shortcuts. It's the info/link/specifications in the shortcut that make the widgets work. If you're just moving the shortcuts themselves around, everything will be fine.
It happened the same to me 2/3 days ago for Lisbon, Portugal (the code was correct)... Other locations displayed fine, but not Lisbon. I went to weather.com and it was working...
Something strange is the moon for the night isn't displaying... it's always with the sun. But if I use the previous version, 0.1, it works... strange...
I just tired to reinstall this and when installing I get this error. Can anyone help me with this?
