Same as Iceman ? Really ? I do like Iceman's themes,....hmm..the screen captures don't look that good.
I already made the decision not to use it. Looking for a better skin. Thanks for the link.

I take back my comments. I was wrong in what I said. It is not so much the skin but the buttons look kind of flat almost as a 2 dimensional drawing. Maybe they look better if they were more pearly looking.

You do realize that Iceman's scrollbars look like that - right? I do like the scrollbars you have shown though. I have changed them and the tabs - progressmeter. If you know how to round the corners of the scrollbars, let me know. My upcoming update includes the spyder used as the go button (others like the spyder) There will be large and small go buttons to match the other icons.
I have decided against using the spyder for the 'Compact" icon, because it will conflict with other themes that I and others may use. Now there is a print icon so that the spyder may be the go button.
Your icons may be a little bright for some - I prefer the original look - and these are the original icons, except the obvious ones.
BTW, the bug you see at the left corner is not the throbber. It is the menu item drop down image for the extension "compact"

Well, like I said, those are my suggestions. Yes I know the scrollbar is Iceman's but that type of aqua pattern looks a little odd because it's repetition is so obvious. There are some that like it and some that find it a little odd. Iceman is not the first one to produce that kind of a pattern for the scrollbar. It has been noted and discussed ever since there was a me too Aqua interface. There is no right or wrong just preference for what in your eyes looks better. I've never been a fan of cloning for cloning sake. I like to see some improve artistic talent to see a better Aqua not just a copy of the original. That is my philosophy, and I know some like just a faithful copy at nauseum.
To me it is the same mentality as a transvestite. No matter how much you dress a man as a woman you are still a man. No matter how much you mod something to look like a Mac you still got a PC with different ways of behaving and different interpretations of the color patterns and resolution. To those that want exact Aqua copies they will never be satisfied until they have a Mac. It is an unachieavable goal because of the high degree of discrimination. My advise is save and buy a Mac if there is no flexibility in interpretation, and no spark of creativity.
The buttons are not shinier or whiter but just a difference in applying the shading. The "S" shading transition from light to white is not natural and looks odd, irrespective if it is in the original. Michaelangelo made many mistakes in every painting but he went back and painted over them. There is no perfection in copying something that looks odd.
Do as your heart desires, in so far as the theme, in my concept it is boring offering no improvements over many themes that will now crop up as me too. It's your work and I appreciate your effort. It's up to you to demonstrate some artistic interpretation or not, or how you define your work. My suggestions are just that,...suggestions...you may agree or disagree....but if you gave some thought to it, I did my job regardless what you do. Don't take criticism or feedback so harshly.
I'm sorry you perceived me as taking your criticism harshly. I was not. Realize you are not the only one with an opinion.
I know some must strive to emulate Mac as much as possible. I don't care if it's a Mac or whatever. I like what I like and first and foremost, I make themes for myself and I have fun making them. I make the themes available if you want them. If you want to modify them to your liking, that's great - go ahead. Everyone has different tastes and you can't please everyone.
I happen to be artistically challenged. It is because of this wonderful machine, the computer, I am able to create along side of those who are truly gifted - of course, it requires their creations and, when I can get it, their permissions. Creating themes, with the computer, satisfies my creative urge, even though I can't draw worth a damn.
I appreciate your suggestion regarding the scrollbars. I have included the mod into the bars, progressmeter, and tabs.
Here's a shot of my browser now. That player in the upper right is winamp3 with quickamp2 skin in windowshade mode. I'm using the I-tuned visual style, aquabar for ObjectBar. Safari skin-plain(unskinned) for phoenix 0.5.

Can somebody tell me the difference between skinned and non skinned?

Each time I load up a new lynchknot, how to I prevent it from making me install all the stuff in the tutorial again?
Isn't there a settings file (or 2) I can copy over?
Unskinned doesn't have the brushed effect, skinned does I believe.
The skinned version skins the background, tabs, and scrollbars and more. It is for people with other OS's than XP or for those who choose to use windows classic.
The unskinned is icons only - to be use (preferably) with Icemans Brushed Aqua or the like - allowing the OS to skin the browser - generally yielding a better result.
Is there any way we could get a bookmarks button on the toolbar that would just show a dropdown menu, rather than a sidebar? I never use the sidebar. I know I could replace all the text-buttons with one button, but I'm not ready to give up the "file, edit and view" text-type menu buttons.
Can this be done? Also is there a way to remove the "go, bookmarks and tools" text-buttons, and leave the rest?

I never use the side bar either. Why don't you get Compact? You don't have to get rid of your text menu, it just places it off to the side

cause it DO NOT WORK for me. just for one time. and now by hitting the button, the field is empty.

There is a very bad bug in the newest Compact (compact-20030126.xpi) that lynchknot pointed to in the link (mozillazine) he gave. I think it should have been removed from the download link at that forum, cause I downloaded/installed it and lost all my preferences menus until I switched back to the previous version. I mean my toolbar and every preference was GONE!!
