Is there no mirror for this anywhere? I really want to try this. Also, the milky-grayscale Winamp logo is awesome and I was wondering if anyone had an iTunes one that was of the same style, because the blue of the note on the iTunes logo stands out, and not in a good way, IMO.
We all have them for a long time (I know I do and I don't even remember how many I sent arround via email) but we are NOT allow to release them or redistribute (well at least in public) ![]()
This is from 2003 SEPTEMBER desktop thread :
(Back then I was using startandstop script so all the drawers worked even then)
Ah well...

Buddy16 has kindly provided some hosting for the first version here:
I'd like to thanks everyone that offered to host the files, but I'll probably need youguys more when the new non-freezing v0.2 is released in a few days.
@Duckie, its not about morals, it's about 'honour among thieves', you know 'asking permission' and not 'ripping' others work.
I guess no one knows.. :cry:

Can you be more specific about the error?

I have to click on the "please click me" button in the weatherscript everytime I start it. And when I do, I type in city, country.. But I don't get any ID that I'm supposed to?
I get an error message saying:
"Windows Script Host
script: C:\Program\Samurize\Scripts\Konfabulator milk\location finder.vbs
row: bla bla bla "
I've checked my firewall, it's not it. and I've authorized the script in norton antivirus.
I even took someone elses ID for someplace in the US, and wrote it by pressing cancel when it asked me for city, country but that didn't work either.. ![]()
The bits you omitted to mention, the 'blah blah' is what I need to know to help you.
Please copy out what is written in the message word for word.
here's what I get.. (in swedish)
rad= row
tecken = character
fel = wrong
kod= code
källa = source
OK Deniz, that is an error with your Microsoft XML Parser, this is an OS issue of sorts, but you can get around this, follow these instructions:
1) Find your locid from here (type in your location at the end of the address:
http://xoap.weather.com/search/search?where= London, UK
2) Write down the returning locid e.g. in the above example UKXX0085
3) Click on the 'Please click me icon again but this time press cancel on the first window, then in the second window type in your locid that you wrote down.
That should work.

that page doesn't work for me (down?).
I have the locID from another weatherscript I used along time ago..
I've pressed cancel when I got the first question and typed in the ID (SWXX0031).
then M for celsius.. but when the script then executes, I get N/A instead of temp and day ![]()
If you can't read the xml feed from the weather.com website and your script shows N/A it seems your Microsoft XML Parser is broken.

oh.. okay, thanks for the help ![]()
how do I fix it?
Originally posted by deniz@Feb 29 2004, 12:03 PMI guess no one knows.. :cry:
What firewall do you use? If you cannot connect to the site at all, it must be a firewall setting.
.NET Framework might fix the xml thing. Better get a second opinion.

It's possible your Norton AV has found a way to block that site. Check all the configs for it. Does your router have a software interface for settings?
